Untill now, I played almost all my games as a solo player. Had some random platoon, sometime lasting 3-4 battles, usually ending with an heavy deafeat.

But then, during the last week, I had the chance to platoon with some forumites, last two being Baldrik and UrQuan, and I have to say that I found the game more enjoyable, less frustrating, even after a lost game.

So I would like to announce to you that I'm resolute to become a more social player, so if you need a toon mate for an hard grind or just want to have some fun, ask to me and I will be glad to join you! :great:

Yes, platooning is really a lot more fun USUALLY.

I mostly played in platoons till they fricked up the MM for them. Playing a tier 8 in platoon nowadays results in this:

Tier: 8-10, 8-10, 8 only, 8-10, 8-10, 8-9, etc. Being the bottom feeder isn't as much fun as having a chance to actually shoot at lower tiers once in a while, and even every two bad MM games that they give you a break you end up either only 1 tier lower or top tier which is also bottom tier.

Better players out there might not take an issue at this, but for a basic above average player that I am it gets boring fast. Even more so when after platooning ends in disappointment I play 4-5 games and end up with ridiculously better MM.

Welcome to the actual game though, WoT as solo player sucks hard imo, as do most multiplayer games.

I agree. Even knowing that you have an ally supporting you makes game better and less frustrating. :)

Yeah, you can work some kind of tactic and actually communicate with a human being (or a very advanced bot :P ). I find I actually play differently when I know two guys have my flank and will warn me of anything. Voice chat is a must too!

Heh, my clan tends to be 50/50 in  platooning or not. sometimes "nah MM will crew me over if we platoon" and other times its "anyone wana platoon? tier ? tanks"

We mostly platoon tho. but we shouldent ever have to say "we shouldent coop coz the game is broken that way"
