I'm curious if people even know about it? The road can be seen on the minimap, there is a Z-shaped ridge just under water, it leads from one side of the lake to another. It saved my behind in this game. http://wotreplays.eu...isco77-t-100_lt

Or the island on Erlenberg? It's accesible only from the east side i think, i use it immediately after we've secured our side for spoting the west ridge. Anyone know if it's possible to come out on the west side?

I've always known u can go through the middle but definitely only useful when there aren't enemies that can spot u and if u are in a pretty fast tank

wouldn't commend this though, and i think u could've run away through the bridge anyways (maybe)

Yep, I went that way in a T95 once to hunt down the last two enemies. It took a while....but the amount of bounces was funny as they were too trapped by my team to move to flank, while my team were too low HP to risk moving in themselves. Seemed the most logical route - water doesnt make much difference when you can only do 22 km/h anyway..

I did that once in my M7 in the latter stages of a battle to go reset cap. Spotted then so our arty could finish then off: I was low hp vs 2 HTs.

I agree the use is extremely situational, you hardly ever get to use it, i was just curious if people actually know it exists.

I've crossed there a few times when the last enemies are all engaged in the city. I have probably used it at least ten times with success.

I used it twice in the AMX 12t to quickly get to the other side of the map late game.

Only in mid to late games to get around faster. I've hardly use it in the early games, even as a light. Tho I do see one light trying to sneak up there to get spots now and then in the early game.

Used to back before they made the east a brawl area. Middle of swamp was a good spotter location

That road on Lakeville is a deathtrap. You see lights going there every match, but they die rather fast. Tried it a few times myself, but sitting at the eastern side of the lake (and spotting those who take that road) is much more effective.

Funfact: Got teamkilled once because I didn't take the road with my light tank.

The road seems to favor the southern team.

It's about live oaks and that swampy lake. You can cross it through the middle.

Lakevill is another thing, i never EVER spot from that  road.
