This is just trivial, but it happens all the time and there's always that speshl™ teammate, who keeps clicking your map for like, ages. Nonstop. And there's that sound

click

click

click

click

click

I just hate it and try to ignore it, but can't if i'm having a bad game.. I know you probably can, but how about making the game a tiny bit less annoying?

After, let's say (random number, the number it's up to devs, but this is just in my opinion) 10000 battles, they can click the map with all the sounds and lights and whatever.

And then, maybe after 15K battles or, 20K of them, they can maybe use the global chat! You'll get notified of your progress anyway. 1K battles, 5K battles, 10K etc.

There'd just be an added text "You can now use the global chat while ingame!" and so on.

Also, how about the "compliment" system was added-in already?

Coditions for it would be:

-at least 5K battles

-can't be given to platoonmates

-small rewards, like 5-10K credits or an extinguisher (lol)

-you can only give 2 compliments per day, as to not break the world (of tanks) economy

To fix the bugs of the old global chat, being reported for giving away coordinates multiple times i. e. proven guilty of giving away coordinates in global, would result in a month of total chatban and "mapclick" ban.

You would only have the chatrose messages available.

How about it?

Bots playing 15k battles to advertise the bot that can unlock global chat in global chat.

From my experience. It should be the other way around. The more battles you have, the less pings you get.  As I see the 40K players that spam more often. Not the one with 5K or less. As the more battles you have, the more mad most get.

That and... yeah, we don't need a reason to bring bots back to farm battles to unlock "stuff".

And 90% of the people that use Global chat are new players. As there it's the other way around. The more you play, the less you care. So unlocking that after 5K would be useless.

I don't see any evidence that playing more battles makes you less of an idiot.

Are bots really that prevalent? I'd love to get rid of clickspammers this way.

Your intention are good, but this is not a solution. All player need the ability to ping map. Want to stop abuse? Why dont set a total ammount of click (let's say 10) for every battle. Each time you ping the map, 1 click is removed. After a certain ammount of time (assume 10s) you gain back a ping. You can also set that, if you have 0 click left and you try to ping, you get 1 minute of suspension before your pings start to reload.

Ingame, when the mouthbreather person who thinks he is being helpful begins the map spam, mouse over his name, right click, from the drop down menu choose ignore. Stops all known causes of map spam.

If you want WG to do something to stop this, you need to appeal to their sensibilities. No point making in game changes, they don't seem to play - ask for it to be 1 gold per ping, however, and it will make it into 9.20.1.

Too much work, especially if like three people are doing it at the same time.

I have the attention of a squirell, this isn't really too effective as I could focus on the game instead of blocking my whole team.

I agree. I like having chat turned on, because it's occasionally useful, but many have it turned off, either for historical reasons, or abuse such as oft-repeated map-pinging. A limit to the number of pings in a given period, or exponentially increasing time between pings, or some other method of negating the problem, would seem to be in order (client-end I assume).

or just limit the amount of times you can ping the map in a certain time

I usually reply after him pinging half the map that he missed one square

Too simple. There has to be a more difficult solution than that.

(yes I can't multi quote on my phone sorry)
