Mission TD 2 for Object 260

Mission TD 2 (5000 damage + 3 internal modules destroyed or 3 crew members injured) for Object 260 should be changed.

Why? Because if the modules are repaired or the crew members are healed, the mission is not completed. And in the current state of the game, where you can use your repair kit again every 90 seconds, it is extremely hard to meet this condition of the mission.

I've done over 5000 damage plenty of times and even destroyed internal modules/injured crew members more than 3, but they were repaired during the battle.

My personal record regarding damage playing tds is over 7000 in tier 10 and over 6000 in tier 8 (Skorpion). So it is not a hard mission for me in terms of damage. Module damage is primarily an RNG issue. 

WG, if you read this, please change the mission.

I'm sure that's not how it works. What matters is that you destroy modules. It doesn't matter if enemy repairs them or not.

I've done 10+ games with over 5k dmg requirement met yet the internal modules/crew req. was not met and the mission is still not done. Games where I do 3+ penetrating HE hits with SkorpG etc.

 

It is really stupid mission, that is for sure.

I think it does, I've noticed several times now that I can hit a tank an say do 3 module dmg, then post game I will look and see it show's only say 1 or 2 module dmg done, so repairing does appear to remove it.

It matters. Many other players have the same problem as me with this mission.

​This mission is very easy, you just need TD with 'true' troll gun. Best is Su-152 or ISU 152 on HE rounds. Just 3 tips:

- try to finish opponents - they can't repair modules when already dead

- don't trust information during game about critical damages - very often from HE you are damaging both tracks, during game you have info about 2 critical hits, after game it's shown only once

- most modules are classified as a 'external' so don't count for mission requirements

I got you the first time and I am still telling you you are wrong. 

 

That is simply not how it works and you are just not damaging as many modules as you think you are.

 

Again, please provide a replay of one of these alleged cases where you would have completed the mission had they not repaired the modules. Please tell us which modules/crew you damaged while you're at it.

Did that with Grille, shooting HE towards the end of the battle when I had damage required.

Did it with the 183... was easy.

 

And no, if they repair it still counts so stop making up stories.

 

Make sure the module damage is INTERNAL, not tracks and gun etc...

Look below.... that's why. 90% that complain about this mission mostly just do gun or track damage that they get listed. Thus why most want a replay or screens to see what kind of module damage you have done, regardless of if it did get repaired or not. As I never had an issue with that mission, besides only getting track modules for a while that is.

Good way of doing internal damage is setting tanks on fire. If it burns long enough you're nearly guaranteed to have cased 2-3 crits.

I'm pretty sure that's at least how it used to work but they have since fixed it.

The missions where you're supposed to end the game with no broken modules/crew still work like that.

 

The trick for succeeding with the mission is killing enemies with fire. Lots of internals gone then.

Then post a battle report. I want to see you having that mission active and not completed because of such ludicrous reason. Your requirements are damaging modules. It doesn't matter if they stay damaged or not.

Also, internal modules only, radio, engine, ammo rack, and such.

I think I was wrong. The internal modules have to be RED, not yellow (destroyed not only damaged).
