hi everyone, as many of you im currently using the aslain modpack with a modest  configuration .. i use maximum 5 or 6 mods..all for the garage, and when I install the xvm (both the base and the one modified by other modders) my fps drop drastically from 60 to 25-30, my pc is holding wot well and I have no problem at the performance level ... does any of you have the same problem?

gpu: amd radeon hd 5670 1gb mem gddr5  1ghz gpu - 1ghz vram clock

cpu amd phenom 2 x4 cores 2.20ghz overclocked to 2.4ghx

mobo: asrock k10n78m-pro

ssd kingstone 256gb

4bg total ram memory (2 banks of 2 gb) , clock speed 333mhz overclocked to 400mhz for a total of 800

windows 10 pro 64 bit

Yep, that's pretty standard. XVM lowers generally FPS by 30 or so frames/s.

I seem to remember that WOT was stated to use 1.6gb of RAM, so your issue might be the RAM use of the modpack. Have you tried to run WOT vanilla to see what the difference is? You could then add back the Aslain pack, but only tick one box at a time to see if one particular mod is not running well with your system.

I am running a i5, a 1060 and an ssd, but I have 8gb of RAM, and HD game running at the screen maximum of 120fps. So my system is not very different from yours. I run Aslains with a few mods loaded at the moment. I get the occassional drop in fps on dying and returning to the garage, but generally I load into a battle 4 seconds before the 30 second count down even begins.

So my guess for you for a quick fix if you cannot be bothered testing the mods individually is go to 8gb RAM.

Dont use XVM.. Problem solved!

Also.. Your pc specs are incredibly bad.. Even for WoT standards. Like.. REALLY bad.

Pretty buffed, actually. If it wasn't for the catastrophic hair loss, and predisposition to play WOT, I would probably be irresistible to all women.

Sadly, women laugh at men who play tanks. Even if the men in question are inked.

The WoT engine isn't very optimized, and the way XVM runs UI addons isn't very efficient either. You can probably use XVM if you turn down all the fancy stuff. Also, while WoT is supposed to use multiple cores, I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't run that much better with a quad-core than a dual-core - even if the per-core performance was equal. Duals tend to have more power per core, and as such runs it better. My ancient gaming computer was single-core, and ran WoT easy as pie - despite being a cheap midrange-setup from 2005-ish.

(War Thunder generally has a much better engine if you ask me, although with modding and texture compression WoT might have even lower requirements. Depends a bit on the computer.)

(Tattoos being cool or not is a matter of taste, but one can't deny that tattoos have lost their aura of rebellion and contraculture - although some still think tattoos are cool for that reason alone. Pretty funny if you ask me. )

I think the correlation you have observed is biased.

WoT has bad optimization tbh, and eats up way too many resources than it already should, xvm is i think an overlay on top of that.

I don't think you can avoid fps loss while using mods tbh.

PS: Tats tell the world you had 30$ at one point. :)

Unless it's a cool guristas skeleton head or veldspar targeted.

when i play wot my usage of ram is 2 gb and cpu is 30% loaded during a battle , cpu 100% , ssd ..2 or 5%
