Sad.

I got team-killed in cap circle once (not by arty),

that genius immediately went blue and got banned,

guess what ... we lost of course.

*edit. 3 times if I remember it correctly.

Capping when not needed is a douche move, *edit. So I have chosen the lesser evil. Many wont agree with me with this. But do not care. Never lost because of that, not even close.

You play a game. The game has rules. You choose not to comply with the rules. I think it is indeed safe to say many won't agree with you.

I never killed someone capping (well, I did kill 4 enemies once and I got a nice shiny medal for it :) ) but I did push someone out of the cap once when there was still killing to be done and a sure win.

He was pissed, but 0 dmg done and no penalty. :)

Killing a team mate is even more douche move.

What if the guy is doing a personal mission to cap, or if his tank is too slow to ever make it to the enemy before the battle ends.

You know what's an even bigger douche move? Killing one of your teammates just to try and pad your stats.

No, it is not.

It is insurance against mongoloid meltdown.

Can't beat a quick cap then to the fridge for a beer. Capping = More Beer

Thought you got insta-banned for that? Interesting.

It's not like the capper loses anything either, might even benefit because the team does more damage, and shared damage is part of the equation. Most people think they get a huge reward for capping, apparently. IIRC it's just a small bonus for staying in the circle, which I do if I can't be arsed hunting down the last runner.

(FWIW a quick cap once in a while might make people realize how useless it is, even if winning games is a viable end goal.)

Arty did you a favor and you complain? You would've lost some xp otherwise.

Then they tell that when I first ask them multiple time to stop capping. And what if their teammates are doing a mission too? Some actually hard mission rather than sitting in base mission?

It's not for their benefit to stop capping, but for the teammates that can still do damage and get the benefits.

Out of those three times, only once I myself did any damage because of it, rest were for the benefit of the teammates. Not really padding is it?

I comply the rules by accepting punishment for it by going blue.

Need of many always is greater than need of a few. And 3 times out of over 25k games. Not really a common thing. Not even happening once a year.

There should be a rule that you can't cap if there's say over 8-10 tank difference or first 5 minutes of the game.

You or Him?

Just asking because neither is a more or less valid way of winning the game. But you obviously value your stat padding above all else so I guess you at least know the meaning of selfish.
