Hey guys, when you buy the standard package for the Tiger 131 it says the crew it comes with:

"Also included is a crew with 100% Major Qualification and the Brothers in Arms perk for an even higher performance."

Does this mean that it comes with BIA at 100% and then you can choose another skill at 100% right from the start?

As when I bought it, it just came with BIA at 100%.

Thanks for any help guys.

They worded it weird where I can understand the confusion: A 100% qualification & BiA perk should have just been worded: crew with 100% BiA perk included.

BIA is the first skill/perk ready to work at 100%, the second skill/perk that you chose (camo, repairs etc.) is the one you start training,

Off Topic if you are buying this just to add to the collection ok,

if you are buying this as a different type of vehicle to play and you already own the Japanese tiger (forgot its name ) i would not bother they are basically the exact same tank.

He is asking about crew so presumably he is more interested in a German crew trainer than a Japanese crew trainer. And it does seem to work really rather well in that role.

It's the same as the Berlin crews, as in comes at BIA full trained but you can't reset or retrain it, any subsequent skills you have to train up, but they will train up as if they are your first, second etc. skills because the BIA is 'free' in terms of crew XP.

The 100% bit just means they are fully trained to the tank.

Only the female reward crew members come with the free BIA + fully trained first skill, so they basically start at 2 crew skills right of the bat.

All these recent tanks are not really about the tanks themselves that much but more about the crews, especially if you get the package with the x5 missions, it makes them excellent 'catch up' purchases for newer players or players looking to start a new line. If you stack the x5s, with XP and crew XP boosters you can train 4/5 skill crews in no time.

My Tiger 131 crew is 87% on the third skill after just 37 games.

I have a Cromwell B crew that is 97% on the third skill after 45 games.

And I have a Swedish crew that is 95% through the 5th skill from just 365 games.

Would depend on whether you needed a German HT crew, what with there now being three tier X HTs.

I like this tank, is it a good tier6? Worth getting? Gauge it for me if you please, against how the T34-85M performs?

It looks and feels like a proper tank.

The Tiger in this game is just meh, boosted by nostalgia.

- Superior mobility

- Broken DPM

- Better camo

- Effectively equal hull armour due to the sloping. Sitting head-on the T-34-85M's hull is ~120 mm vs the Tiger's flat 100 - 120 mm hull.

- Inferior pen by 1 mm.

  • BONUS CREW: 100% MAJOR QUALIFICATION + BROTHERS IN ARMS PERK (FOR THE TIGER 131);

some might not be buying it for the tank or the crew...

They have similar levels of armour (M might even be better to be honest), alpha on the M is not far off (with low rolls, high rolls you don't trade that badly), gun handling is better, DPM is better, pen is the same.

Then the M is massively more mobile, is a smaller target, is a medium so gets ok camo whereas the Tiger will be spotted more.

The Tiger 131 is not objectively bad, but it's not great either. It's got ok DPM for it's alpha, high HP and decent alpha for a tier 6 heavy and good view range for a tier 6.  But the T-34-85M is these days one of the best tier 6 tanks,

To add, the T-34-85M does not lose modules like it was a black friday sale every match. With the Tiger 131 you can choose, do you want to be engined, or ammo racked all the time. And Tiger 131, no matter how you angle, always presents a easy penetration with the cupola. Only equivalent the T-34-85M has to that is the trollish small section on the gun mantlet that is only 20mm thick that you can only hit from very limited angles.

Gotta love the way WG gives us such great options. I'm having a pre-purchase buyer's remorse about Tiger 131. I'm not entirely sure if I want the tank (BIA crew would be an asset) as there already is a tier 7 Tiger as a regular tank.

Also.. anyone know anything about that Ace/Carius Tiger 217?
