Like WTF ??? I saw it yesterday and that thing is ugly as [edited]... The t-10 is beutifull ( gonna save cash to get her back ) and they want to put the tier 8 defender just uglyer in a tier higher... I understand it plays more like a heavyum but i dont mind.

Why makeanother tank requering no skill since the OBJ. just lookslike one ?

Yep.

But also for continuation of playstyles throughout a line. The T-10 is not an IS7 or IS3, does not play like those tanks, the 257 presumably will be more like them.

That was just a renaming, they didn't "replace" anything back then.

They are gonna replace it with an Obj. So that means it will probably be moved in a new line. The crapmeans that i have to grind it AGAIN.

I don't think that's set in stone yet, and judging from the German HT line rework you don't have to regrind the particular tanks you've already unlocked. I doubt they're gonna outright remove the T-10.

It'll probably leave everything up to, and including, the T-10 unlocked in the new line, and the 257 not researched in the 'old' line. If you have the IS-7 unlocked, it should 'stick'. Pretty sure that was how it worked. Maus owners didn't get the Mäuschen unlocked, but kept the VKB unlocked... or something like that.

We also got plenty of advance warning, so if you were grinding the IS-7 you probably have months left before anything happens to it - i.e. chances are that if someone wanted the T-10 that badly they probably play enough games to get it within a month or so.

No it doesn't.

As they did with the light tanks, and the german heavies, and every other time they've switched lines around, they will create a new line and you will retain the T-10 in your garage. You will then be able to use it to grind the new tier X should you want it.

You will also retain your progress on the old line, and either have the new tier IX gifted to you, or have it unlocked and ready to purchase. If you already have the IS-7 unlocked you will retain that progress.

Don't see what the fuss is about, and clearly this is just a whine thread you created without bothering to actually think about what you're saying or even looking up anything about it.

The lines don't need changing to maintain the playstyle though, I play equally crap in all of my tanks

So its already perfectly consistent :)

Well, the T-10 has the ability to get into trouble far faster than the IS-3 (and IS-7), while taking the inevitable punishment far worse. :P

Why replace it?

Because WG thinks that all tanks in a line should be as identical as possible and play exactly the same.
Because...diversity?

So better replace a tank that existed and was built with a paper tank someone dreamed of after having to much vodka. Also known as obj-whatever tanks.

It's being moved. Not replaced.

Besides, we all know that the average WoT player can't tell a turd from a mars bar. They need each and every tank to be identical to even slightly prosper in this game.

T-10 will remain in the game. WG feels it's out of place between two assault HT's. Just like they did feel the Lorr 40t was the odd one out between the 13 90 and BC 25 back in the day. The T-10 is getting it's own line. Most have guessed the Obj 777 will be the tier X there. iirc they wanted it to start from the IS-3. So the changes will be more or less like what they did to the VK B and the Maus line.

Because it doesn't have enough frontal armour that bobs can just point towards enemy and feel useful. Aka it will require no skill to play and be incredibly boring and bland.

This is quite rude.

Take your stats, for example: stat padding in the premium tier 4 pz b2 (you have almost 10000 games in that tank, 90% winrate) and pz 38H premium tier 2 (you have ~8500 games in that, 85% winrate) whilst moving to higher tiers, requiring true skills, such as in your T34 premium 8 heavy tank (you have a 46% winrate after 382 games) only a 2nd class mastery badge is equal to the 46% winrate you laugh at others for having.

Like i said, rather rude.

You are rather better in your AMX 50 100, with a huuuuge 47% winrate.  :child: No mastery in that tank either.
