In CIS region (russia and friends) few days ago received trade in announcment (to change premium tanks) and credit reinforcement (billions and trillions of credits give away to players). I wonder when we in Europe gonna receive these goodies????

Trade-in is in the calendar so that's coming. I'd expect some sort of credit event too, but AFAIK that's not confirmed anywhere yet.

Credits wise we had another special. Trade-in is going to happen soon, most likely. I think WG EU are waiting to finish sales of WZ-120-1G since it's gonna be available for gold in-game.

Beware what tank you're gonna trade in. There are no concrete plans yet, but WG has acknowledged that T8 PMM is lagging a bit behind due to the matchmaking system and overall T8 competition. Nothing major happened last time, so I'm not saying that the trade-in is meant to outright trick you, but

Hard to tell what they'll do though. Many T8 PMM tanks might be hard to balance without overdoing it. They're not sure what to do with KV-5 and IS-6. Type 59 (and T-34-3) is getting what appears to be very nice buffs (though I doubt it'll be outright overpowered), JT88's buffs were a bit lackluster (though at least heading in the right direction). Hard to balance stuff when you can't nerf premium tanks, probably. Just look at Blitz, where the IS-6 and KV-5 both have alternate guns, trading DPM (and gun handling(?)) for penetration - something I believe detracts from the playing style of these tanks.

My point was that it's not really that great.

Having trillions to distribute piles up to nothing to each player, and since everyone can get the same amount per day, defeats any special thing it could be. Now if you make it 200k per 15 wins in top 10 xp, then it will be somewhat interesting, as the more you play, the more you get, and by the end of the event, you could amass a few millions.

IIRC the Russian event is that for first win of the day you get 100k and then for 10 or 15 wins or something you get the second 100k. So max 200k per day and the event runs until the playerbase as a whole has exhausted the credit pool so play daily and you'll manage to rack up those easy credits quite nicely, not everyone plays every day after all.

Even just 20 gold would have been much more enticing.

lets say  they got 1M active players

and each of them does both missions it would be 200 billions gone on first day

and first trillion on day 5  by then anyone could have earned 1M crds if they draw in more players it get even less

than again if EU does it we could expect 200-250k players but  wg would probably just give away 1 billion making it even more pointless

that trade in is rip off anyway - you still lose half of the gold value, i will probably just sell useless prems for credits, rather then getting another useless pile of crap. I mean, idk why did i even bother to get sta-2 and panther 8.8, if scorpion G makes more credits even with apcr spam :D scorpion G, lowe and ravioli seems like a way to go for credit grinding, unless u have something like patriot, lorraine or defender in garage as well, the rest are pile of crap.

Done, in 3 days. A whooping 600k max per person. Much wow, such fortune.

Id be happy with 600k, for such little work.

A whole new set of PM's would be preferred though.

Indeed, I much prefer the 9 credit boosters we got at the weekend. I'm damn sure I'll make more than 600k off them in the 18 hours of +25% credits I'll get from them.

Thinking of trading in the jgtig 88 for either strv s1 or t-34-3 . Maybe I should trade in the m48 kr as well although that one isn't bad, I just have enough US meds and it plays just like the pershing and the IX patton.

Of course it's pricey still but the closest thing to a late refund. 88 is barely playable in this meta.
