I normally dont make threads about people teamkilling me, but this one I found weird.

Basicly I played my first game in the S conq, himmelsdorf, I went to the banana road. I sit hulldown behind the rubble.

A 'friendly' T54 is behind me, and from the moment the enemy was spotted, he started shootin me, first shot in my side, second misses, then he pens me in the side again. After 2 shots he still isnt blue, which I already find weird, then he bounces a shot on me , hits me again  and misses one before he dies.

First off, does anyone know why he didnt get banned or even got blue? He penned me 3 times , and as far as I know the automatic system bans somene after 3 shots. And he didnt even get blue? What is happening here?

Another weird thing is I am not sure he did it on purpose, he seemed to be shootign at the enemy tanks but for some reason forgot I and some rubble where in the way.  He also only starts shooting me when enemies are spotted.   Does the automatic system look at if the T54 was aiming at an enemy and thats why he didnt get blue?

Does anyone have an explantion for this ? I find it really odd.

Replay in attachment, the replay site doesnt accept 9.20.1 replays apperently.

EDIT: apparently it gives an error when trying to do it as attachement.  And other replays sites dont accept it sicne its corrupted or something ,even though I can watch it just fine.

I just had a battle in which a WZ TD shot our T95 at the start of the game and turned blue (so he obviously did some friendly damage not that long ago), then shot him again - and was still driving around. He got killed before taking the 3rd shot. Please feel free to correct me, but I always thought that shooting someone after you turned blue results in a ban. So either these are some two weird instances of the team killers doing just barely not enough to get blue/banned or the system is bugged (wouldn't surprise me, for every new feature there is at least 1 bug). Link to the replay. Wot replays seems to be working fine for me.

I don't believe that the system has ever been a concrete "three strikes" affair.

hmm, I always thought that was the case, still,   if someone is allowed to do 3 shots of damage for a total of 750 dmg and not even turn blue, its clearly not working.

Well the rule is 3 to 4 shots to turn blue. As it's not a 3 flat rule if you will. As it's more on the enemy to friendly damage threshold more so then number of shots. So it can go up to 4 if he has a very clean plate, or less then 3 if not.

Not sure about that rule. Arty usually takes only 2 shots max, so...

I doubt he has a clean plate, he shoots me 3 times and then shoots a lot of shots in my direction, so i doubt this happens once in a full moon. Also he did 0 dmg that game and is a horrible player, I doubt his ratio will be good.

So far, the only explanation is that we dont actually know how the system works.

My conclusion is that the system is clearly broken if someone can shoot you 3 times , miss you a couple of times, do 750 dmg to you and not even turn blue for that, and also that noone actually watched the replay ;)

Thats lower than 3, but why would the sytem allow 3 shots?

I suspect that each shot will be weight in some ways, eg if the friendly is between the firing player and the enemy any subsequent team damage results in fewer penalty points.
