Yeah thats what I would like to know. I am playing my tier 10 tank against tier 8 and still get tiny amounts of bonds? But not all the time?

Tell me? Am I a wizzard? Did I hack WGs servers?

E1: Oh figured it out myself now.... But the entirety of 2 bonds for a medal? That seems off if not pointless. I mean why even do that if 2 bonds are awarded per medal? Maybe a mistake by Wargaming?

I got 1 for a high calibre.
When I got high calibre later in same tank, no bond...

So it wasn't due to high calibre but some other random event.

Also not 100% sure but I think you still get the tier 10 bonds you got in 9.20 on top of these.

With how many bonds you need to actually get anything. this ammount looks pointless.

It's not WG's intention to flood all players with bonds and improved equipment I think, but with enough playing you might afford one or two to your favourite tier 10 tank.

You can also go to awards in your garage. Now every battle hero award has an additional info about the bonds.

It would be nice if WG awarded them retro-active.

Guess one can only dream though.

I mean just a bit of math here:

The average player gets a medal which gets him some bonds maybe 1 in 5 battles? Correct me if I am mistaken. So the average amount of bonds might be around 2 or because we are very generous 3 bonds.

Now a good equipment costs like 5000 bonds - around 1666 battles are needed to obtain a single piece.

THats as much as some players play in a year. That is odd.

Exactly my point. its not just a "slow ammount" its literally a stupid ammount of time needed for 1 single piece.

actually, if you receive 3 bonds per medal average and you receive a medal every 5 batles, you will need some 8500 batles for one equipment... in tier 10...

someone allready calculated that average player will need at least 35000 batles for one equipment...

Others do that in a month, they tried to balance it.

Well, this "bond gain" is approximately 0. It takes to long to get anything from it. I think they should remove it or severely increase rate of bonds.

but how does the bond system work in tier 10? I have no clue when I do or don't get bonds when playing the "Grand Battle". It feels pretty random when I do get them. I thought everyone would get bonds, according to the amount of xp gained (best player on the team gaining more then others and winning team gaining more then losing team).

Well, on average i get like 10 bonds in a tier10 battle, if medals give me 2 more on average it will take me  400 games instead of 500 to get 1 equipement, so i guess thats an improvement.

When they announced it literally everyone told WG that those values were a complete joke. We even calculated how many bonds people would have got so far with this method, the values were way worse than your estimate, usually less than 0.5 bonds per battle on average even for good-very good players. Esp. idiotic that this was announced as a way for players without T10 tanks to get bonds, yet even this system is tailored to reward playing T10 exponentially more.

It does seem a tad stingy.

I know but if they gave enough for a directive then  it's likely we would spend them and never get enough for improved equipment.

As it is Mr Joe Average will get enough for a directive maybe once a month.
