Why o why did you do this??? It really SUCKS! I want my separate launchers back! You should at least have given me a choice!!

Frustration is not the right term, I'm pissed off! Will the separate launchers become available again?

Thank you for your answer.

So far our plans do not involve bringing back the normal launchers.
The game center is working fine and with it maintaining the games up to date is just easier.

It is overall just better than having 5+ launchers if someone plays all our games.
The support cannot help you with this.

"The support cannot help you with this." Is not a solution! I do NOT want your games to automatically update, because they completely grind my pc to a halt. Jus show me an alert and i will determine when I'll update a game.

If you do not wish to download the updates automatically, you can turn this setting off by going to the little gear icon on the left of the Game Center Launcher, then click on Updates and untick both boxes.

Yes a choice would be fine personally I would stick with separate launchers.

Get a better computer...

 

Updates running in the background should have no adverse effects on a PC made after 1995...

Since we're at it: I thought about playing a few matches of WoWS again during winter. Will that launcher install with an update there, too? If yes, I'll not do that. I hate that kind of forced big daddy software...

How come I don't have this Game Center (note the US spelling!)? All I got is the regular one.

Well now yes (because of reasons...) but WoWS is still installed and updated on.. was it Wednesday or yesterday, not sure.
