Just a short question: how have you changed your play style after new MM or havn't you at all? All my stats has crashed in all Tiers and tank ypes after the new MM, though they were not high even before. So, i suppose, other must have been risen as much as mine has been fallen.

Personally havn't changed tactic or practical doing, so its seems I should. But into what direction? More along to the lemming trains? More independent style? Picking just lower stat players to gain more exp? Changing favorite tanks? More aggressive, more passive? Camping, rushing, hiding?

Your recent 1200ish games shows it actually went up by 0.17%
Your last 600 ish games shows an increase of 0.77% and it's probably a bug that you played over 600 games in 7 days.

Did they actually implement the MM change?

What part of "new MM"? 9.18 change? 9.20.1 tank class changes?

Overall it's become more of a "hope your top tanks do their crap and that you get to support them/save their [edited]" meta than anything else. That includes low-tiers camping a fair bit more than they should. Not really surprising - who the heck wants to go to a flank and get removed first because you're ultimately quite dangerous as a bottom-tier unless it's strictly a head-on trading duel?

Still same tactic.  play with view range, let the enemy make mistakes, spot for your campers

I´d say it has changed which tanks I find playable and which not. Tanks that have qualities that make them stack up to higher tiers have become much more valuable - one of the reasons I like the Löwe so much; the turret armor, view range and penetration holds up even against tier 10s, but I hardly play tanks like the KV-4 or the SU-122-44 anymore because these tend to get crushed as bottoms. The only tanks that really stand for themselves are tier 9s and 10s, all others now need good support qualities to be enjoyable.

MM dictates every tank I play now. The whole tier 8 premium thing boils down to, can you damage tier 9 and 10 and survive long enough to make money.

Platooning in tier 8s is just endless bottom tier games. Yet platoon in 2 x AMX 13 75s and you magically get a tier 7 game where they are totally OP.

Been playing this game for a long time and the new MM is the only thing that has brought me close to quitting.

I notice most people camp it out now...

so...I got me a tent too

I also have the feeling that some mechanics are utterly broken...a few days ago, I spotted a TD whilst being behind a (closed) bush...I´ve seen the replay again and again...there is no way I could have spotted that guy from where I was

works vice versa too, sixth sense not working then and boom...u r toast

Played two battles today, and both had about 1/3rd of my team wanking near the base instead of using WASD hax.

Haven't checked their results for the first battle, but with the second one; a tier 4-6 match, all four basewankers did only around 100 damage each, while my bottomtier Chi-He leading the charge on the right flank on El Halluf got 890 dmg. :izmena:

Can't say much about high-tier battles, since I pretty much stopped playing tier 8+ months ago due to MM and credit losses (Jap heavies, premium HE spam, you know the drill).

On a rare occasion I do take my O-Ro Kai out of the garage to improve my mood after a series of horrible matches. Front-line arty, what's not to like. :justwait:

See an enemy tank just press mouse button 1 to fire..

- Bad streaks happen. Really, they do. (Good streaks happen as well, but I have yet to see anybody complain about those. :P

- You may want to adapt your tactics each and every game. If there are a lot of td's on your side, it can be quite worthwhile to spot, for instance. Always ask yourself at least the following questions: what is the enemy team likely to do, and what is my team going to do. If you can predict that (xvm really is your friend here, because it helps you to predict behaviour), you need to figure out how and where you can make a difference. Generally speaking, camping is nearly always the wrong answer, though. The current meta is not about setting up a tent, it is about whose top tier tanks die first.

Hmm... Sunday seemed to make enough balanced battles in MM. But now in Monday morning again mostly 13-0, 0-13 games in all Tiers. Three minutes.

just 10 battles loose then 10 battles won, all is broken, must play some OP 10 tier  only if you know how

I changed a little while back, not because of the new MM but because I looked at what I was doing and realised that I wasn't doing enough damage consistently and wasn't doing enough to influence the battle outcome. I was too passive basically.

So I've tried to be more aggressive and it works to a degree, sometimes. fails spectacularly quite often but I have a better understanding of how to force a win. Doing it is another matter.

After several tests I'm doing mainly two things to have a less frustrating experience:

- play tier 9

- when I want to have easy games, I play the Pz S35 :-)

And talking tactics, I play far more carefully because too often there is no backup and you're on your own, except at higher tiers past 21h30.

Been playing tier 8 premiums all this weekend, mostly the M4 Ravioli grinding up a new girl 13-90 crew in the "horribly broken" MM employing the usual tactics of "shoot all the things" and "let someone else deal with the Maus".

Finished the weekend out with a fat load of credits, 13-90 crew ready to roll next month and a 63% WR because the MM is so "broken".
