Since the last patch I'm seeing way more ghost shell shot's, did they change something that's affecting your shots?

First thing to check should always be your own connection. Did you do that?

My own connection is pretty good, no PL and ping of 21, did some digging on the net seems I'm not the only one noticing this atm

Ping is not always an indicator of packet loss.

Ghost shells happen when a micro lag throws you slightly out of sync with the server. This means the tank you're aiming at is not actually at that location, resulting in a seeming "ghost shell" passing through the tank.

For example, a poor device (such as network card or modem) or a bad cable could cause packet loss without any effect to latency.

Run a ping blotter aimed at the EU server of your choice, and post the results here.

sure ghost shells happen sometimes due to desyncs usualy caused on the player's end. but at the same time ive had shots connect that made me scratch my head like "How did my shot connect?" even tho visualy it apeared it missed.

It's a Halloween special.

If they fly off into the ether then check your connection.

Found it used to do this when using WiFi now use an Ethernet cable.

I have noticed the ghost shell thing far more this patch and I am not buying the packet loss / check your ISP.

Firstly its been this patch and secondly it fired and all the reload and everything is needed and supposedly server based.

Seems to happen more when there is close quarter chaos and like I say this patch has been extremely noticeable.
It could of even been fixed as had a few days I was raging about it and touch wood seems to be better.

It's the exact same thing.

The client thinks that the tank is already one meter further away while it actually isn't that fast on the server. And boom, it looks like you hit the invisible supply trailer behind the tank.

It hasn't been fixed. There was no issue to fix.

It's impossible that the server would cause ghost shells for just a handful of people. It would be noticed by far more than 1 person.

Whether you buy it or not. It is a FACT that ghost shells are caused by packet loss between your connection and the server, and it is caused by the connection on your end. Apply logic to your post as you say it happens in close quarters when the game is chaotic (IE when the most load is on your connection) and you have your answer.
