So I started encountering some realy nasty pople in game that even write realy nasty thins in private chat  and I was wondering what would be the best way to deal with them. There fore I wanted to ask others since i know there are lots of cool and good players in WoT community. Is ignoring strategy good or I should focus on raising spirits of other players on my team and owerpower toxicity with kindnes?

Sorry for my bad english. And thank you for your answers.

1. Ignore and block them

2. Disable battle chat and private messages from everyone not on your friends list (easiest but also blocks anyone trying to send friendly nice messages)

3. Troll them back and see how angry they become (my personal preference)

K_A's third option is the one I use. Nothing better to see than an aggravated fool.

right clik player and block or put on black list. or just ignore them. I usualy ask them to put their mid-finger in their arse while they talk dirty, if they continue i ask to roll their finger around, and so on...

I sometimes insult others. #guilty.

Your best options are either to ignore them and block or blacklist them, either to troll them back and see how much further can you take them.

The angry chat messages is a natural consequence of their hardening. Do with them how you like. Preferably troll; they're ripe for the pickings.

for me i just ignor them, i dont even block them, if they send me messages after the game i just close the x box, its a shame that this game has so much toxic chat, but its the same in every game that has a chat box, its open to a can of worms, i just ask myself why do they do it, but never feed the trolls, ignor them is the best way, they will soon pick on someone else.

Yesterday I was pretty pissed and a top tier Leopard PT A who did nothing all game (met a few all day, freaking weekend warriors). We exchanged a few nasty words during the game as I was pissed he did not flank while 5 enemies were all focused on me... does not matter, this is not the point.

After the game I wrote him some even nastier words. You want to know what happened after? He apologised. He realised my anger was somewhat justified and that he made a mistake. Our nasty exchange of words became a very friendly conversation. I left him some tips for getting better and how to better play his PT A. We closed the conversation in a very friendly and civilised manner.

Wanted to share this just as a nice example of how insults can turn into friendly conversations. :) And I was the aggressor here. :hiding:

I tend to laugh at their insults, tell them to try harder as their insults are as pathetic as they are then blacklist them.   Insults are just words on a screen in this game.  I just remember that it's a game, they are not worth the effort.  If the insults are of a racist nature I report them, then Blacklist them.

A man with a Profanisaurus is rarely bested at insults.
