Hey guys, I am a player that has returned after not playing for 5 years and things have kinda changed. I made a new account and started getting used again. The game looked pretty nice and looks like the developers laid some very hard work on it, but some certain aspects seemed confusing to me.

Why does crew training take so long and what is the fastest way to train them up?

When moving crew from a lower tier to a higher tier tank, how do you do it? When I do it, the numbers show up as red and I am not sure if it has even effect.

Also, directives seem pretty cool. The directives for crew, do you just buy, say sixth sense with bonds and you have it forever? Or do you need to resupply it after every battle with bonds?

They are red because they are untrained for that tank.

If you go up a tier you put the crew in a new tank and retrain them for that tank. After that they will forget how to operate in the old tank so you can only run them in 1 tank at the time (and all same nation and class premiums tanks).

Never use the retrain for free option since this loses too much XP. Retraining for credits is 20k per crewmember and they lose 10% XP if retained to the same class. Gold is 200 gold per crewmember and then they don't lose XP.

ETA: Bonds are for 1 battle only.

If i decide a line i will play through low tiers quickly. If the tier 1-3 are all light tanks you can use them with a penalty if you already have a decent crew. Then on tier 4 or 5 you start the proper training. I buy them at 75% because i don't have much gold and then grind out the tanks. Once they are elited I try to get at least half the first skill done and then i usually get impatient and do the next step on the tier 6.

Having premium tanks that match lines you work on really helps.

Main skill -10%, not the XP.

XP is lost when you reset skills.

Not for gold ofcourse.

Do elite tanks have an extra added benefit?

when your tank becomes elite, you get the option to turn on ACT (accelerated Crew Training)

It is a little box just above the commander picture in the garage.

By ticking this your crew gets better training xp accelerator.
