This is without the dubt the game with the worst accuracy I've ever played. Even when fully aimed it comes down to pure dumb luck when shooting (rng).

Just for fun: what game have you played with worse even worse accuracy?

Any other FPS tbh. As there 1 round out of 30 hits the target. As dispersion is 10x worse there standing still after firing the first shot, then any tank here gets while shooting on the move.

im not very accurate with the Bow and arrow in minecraft. Seems to have T49 levels of dispersion, and when i do hit the damn creepers always sidescrape it

Never had this on IKEA TDs. BL10 used to be a lottery. Deathstar can be iffy. Artys quite good now. Shall I go on?

Never tried Brothers in Arms? Me and a cpu nazist shot each other from 5 meters with kar98 and missed several well aimed shot! :teethhappy:

Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory; rifles on vanilla ET (while SMG's were hilariously accurate). Luckily there was No Quarter MOD with scripting ability for weapons, result: Inaccurate SMG's and very accurate rifles. Always such a shocker to new comers on our server who would automatically pick SMG and try to snipe at range, then get shot to pieces by rifle users. :D

There was this fighter jet game called Eurofighter Typhoon.. released in 2000 or something. All my bombs missed the tanks and all my missiles missed the jets. Worst part was you had to pray for 30 seconds c'mon.. c'mon... and the missile lost the lock after 29s of flight and you had to spam Fox 2 again...

ah probably way older games where its physically impossible to hit hit your target

theres a technical term for it cant remember.

how about

"Rebel Star Raiders" - Circa 1984

most likely a game that has heavily influenced this one.  TBS, where WoT's heritage lies.

Wasn't that the multiplayer version of Return to Castle Wolfenstein?

In the latter I remember really accurate rifles (like kar98 or the airborn rifle) while MP-42 had a quite bad disperion...

OT

Was there Venom in Enemy Territory?

Battlefield games have built in weapon spread for weapons that is random and builds up as you fire.

Enemy Territory was the stand alone online/multiplayer version of RTCW yes. Vanilla ET had horrible weapon characteristics, with the Thompson and MP40 SMG's being far more accurate than the rifles, with much higher rate of fire and practically the same damage. So practically everyone was running around with SMG's only. NQ MOD allowed changing basically anything with the weapons through scripts.

The Venom wasn't in Vanilla ET but surely some servers had it modded in.

Well, if there wasn't any script saying you only can defeat that soldier, we found a real competitor. :teethhappy:

Sounds to me you did not miss a single shot there, and actually did hit many a shot...
