Am I just being bad, or the T34 really is almost unplayable?

So this was my first premium, I loved it, I tried to 3 mark it but I only got to 2 marks as suddenly it started being bad. Even if I wait for the terrible 3 sec aim time, I still dont hit many of my shells, even at point blank range which is rather weird considering the tank got 0.31 acc with my crew. Is this tank being under powered, or its just me? Now it is painful to play with, a few months ago I was still enjoying it, but now its just constantly missing shots... What do you think? Heres a replay if you wanna know what I mean. Yes I kind of played badly because I was fustrated how many shells I was missing the last 2 match.

I'd say its "playable" if you have BiA+Stabs+Vents+Rammer+Repairs+Case of Cola every game.

Even then, you'll still have KV-2 soft gun stats, and a hull that can get penned hull down.

It is probably my favorite tank for randoms. Yes, it is slow, yes it is badly armored. But it also has a great gun

and with Optics it can use many more positions, while solo. Just stay behind a hill and pew-pew any meanies.

This tank relies on match knowledge and good positioning. Flanking mediums are you main enemy, closely

followed by that insidious arty. Actually anything that isn't a hill is bad news for you. It is however somewhat

more dynamic than the Emil I and not such a one-trick pony. Other than that, you'll be fine. Good luck.

it would be ok tank. But. It is just so damn slow and sluggish. You get so many games where you just watch how game passes by you. It is really hard to "react" to game situations in this tank atm.. pace is just too damn fast. You need like 8-9 minutes to have good game in this tanks and games that would last so long is so rare now. Personally i changed it to lowe that is so much better tank atm and also more mobile.

It has been unplayable since (what was the patch number?), when wg implemented global accuracy changes. But i guess that patch made quite a few tanks completely obsolete.

It's amazing how someone cannot even get something so simple right.

It is not an awesome tank but it can still print credits in most games.

It is an ok tank, until you play the T29, and realise that even though they are the same tank.. with a slightly different gun, they could not be more different. IF only WG had just tweaked the T34 to be a T29 at tier 8 it would be much more competitive, and definitely not OP since there are so many OP HTs at tier 8.

If only.

Sincerely, T34 is my favorite tank. Just because I got used to it. At first I was so disappointed in the hull armor and gun handling that I was ready to throw it away... Eventually, with time I came to like it, and currently I love this tank. No matter the opponent, you've got an alpha of 400, OP AF penetration value, 248 mm on standard, and 297 mm on premium shells. That's a t10 td penetration, which is awesome! The turret is strong enough to bounce here and there, the view range is decent; but the speed and traverse... those two things might be the worst attributes this tank has.

It's definetly not a front line heavy. 12.66s reload on mine atm, and that's a lot. Especially since you're defenseless against faster tanks that can surround you; since your side and rear armor are... y'know, pointless...

Gun is 10/10 troll, turret is weak as fock, tank is slow and clunky. Thew only thing this tank got is pen and tbh it's meaningless with rest being total crap.

Edit: It was ok before new 3/5/7 MM that f*** you up constantly, new "better" balanced tanks doesn't help it too.

It serves it's spot as a premium quite well. Good AP penetration, good alpha, OK turret.

But compare it to Patriot or Löwe? Why would anyone pick T34 over those monsters?

If it wasn't a premium, I'd hate it and maybe even try to skip it.

I have the t34 with a good crew and  all the extras and it is a tank I used to enjoy playing but its just so frustrating now it is not the tank it was.  Its like its been dropped in some thick goo everything is so slow. The gun is less accurate, it does less damage, it gets spotted a lot more and basically this is what war gaming do, they make a good tank bad so you buy another newer premium.
