To bad WG never fixed it.

They just hoped it would work, since it kind of did during the week (it only failed to show who was online, some where shown, not all).

And now it is back to connecting again.

Really great job WG.

You have weekend where it isn't working, you spend an entire week of not fixing it.

Because hey, why fix it when it kind of works.

You don't even put a note in game or on portal about the issue.

And now it is broken again and you probably don't even know why.

Despite having an entire week to out.

A comparison, WG is like the guy in the story.

The fuel warning light is on when you drive. Suddenly it turns off. And you think "hey, it must mean the tank is full now."

The best part is that the issue seem to be almost identical as last time. We're seeing traces of it on Thursday, then on Friday it breaks out. Currently it can be fixed by restarting a couple of times. Just like last week. Well, only on EU2, but still. It would be accetable if one server was OK; even if EU2 connection isn't ideal for me.

On the other hand, the CCs never actually claimed that it was fixed either. The good thing is that you don't have to worry much about a reputation, because spelunking the forums to make joke posts and generally avoid commenting on any of the three ongoing issues (well, one of that PvE isn't working, which isn't a huge deal) is just beyond stupid.

Like always, MrConway and Ph3lan will have to take the blame for this, while Florian and Markus Schill probably has better things to do than anything connected with the community - because having managers actually bothering to post on the forums is saved for the real f-ing shitstorms, right? Like when someone doesn't feed the server hamsters or someone suddenly goes apeshit and threatens with copyright strikes because of content they don't like (that was essentially the core of it). Among other things.

Props to Conway for making an update. I bet you know as little as we know. Come to think about it, if you aren't allowed to and/or don't want to talk about certain issues, can we have a list of topics that you are allowed to discuss and comment on?

Wargaming dug too greedily & too deeply. As the Leviathan awoke under their greed, their developers thought they could chain it, control it. But alas, they failed to realize it was more then a mere program, more then a mere plaything for the community.

Now the Leviathan has escaped its narrow bonds of it's programmed cage as players failed to stop it, failing to realize the event was more then just a fun halloween event.

Slowly but surely, the servers are breaking down as the leviathan's power grows, the great WoT clans, with their elite tankers was targeted first, their campaign & war battles taken down. It has begun hunting the strong first, shattering them, removing their threat.

Next to go were the chat channels. EU1 fell quickly, EU2 resists for now, but how long can they withstand i'ts ever growing power?

Even now, the servers are ever crumbling as the Leviathan turned i'ts attention to the friendlist, bringing it under its dark veil, beyond the players reach.

The Leviathan is coming, Halloween is drawing near, who or what shall it target next?

But yes, this is getting a bit ridiculous... The breaking chat stuff & the silence of Wargaming regarding these issues is getting a bit much. Not to mention that they apparently didn't expect people to play the Halloween PvE mode... That's some confidence in your product there...

Edit: And the Leviathan took down EU1! Get your act together Wargaming before this halloween event murders both your servers!

Looks like they all go home at 5.00 pm, which was the problem last weekend, tools down and off for a jolly leaving the ship to sink in a storm.

I'm sure WG knows about it. And as I'm sure you know. WG EU usually never lets us know about anything they take down, if they know there is an issue, or even if they are working on a fix. Even if Conway is at work.

Then again as the past weekend showed when the issues started. There are other people working at WG then those 3, as most here make it seem like no one will ever know, or fix it if they are not here. And that they need to be here 24/7, or come running every time there is an issue. One of the weekend staff even responded last weekend to let you know they knew about it, and the tech staff was looking into it. And she got a tad to much crap for not being Conway tbh.

She made the awesome reply.

"It is hard to put up info on the portal" when asked why the portal or in game had no info about the contact list breakdown.

If WG actually cared, they could have it up on the portal within hours.

Minutes, otherwise the system they are using must be really bad. (Could be that the people using the system are bad though.)
