There are the occasional in-game surveys - but I've yet to see ones covering Wargaming EU and, in particular, this forum.
Starting off with a general one; others might follow on certain 'hot topics' or what might be percieved as 'areas of improvement' in the realm of Wargaming EU.

Note: WG EU seems to actually like rating their staff (the customer service center, for instance), and this is merely meant to be a favor to the staff when gathering feedback for their reports.

This should in no way be worse than the feedback you recieve in writing already, and I will avoid questions directed at one particular staff member - unless it's a mere 'do you know who'-type of question (I have a couple of people in mind here). Also consider that while this poll might seem like it's directed at staff members, it really isn't - I'm quite honestly sure that the staff do what they are told to do and do it as well as one can hope. It's meant more to illustrate conditions to whomever might be in charge.

Note 2: I'm no pollster, but I've tried my best (?) at making this decent.
I do understand that there is some 'agreement bias' on these types of polls, so have that in mind when looking at results, as well as the matter of sample size. I've tried not to 'flavour' the poll, despite my very obvious attitude towards WG EU. The poll is a bit 'cherrypicked', but should still be topics that you'd kind of want to score well on regardless.

Doubtful. I'm just asking questions.

While I can imagine that I'm on thin ice, I'm actually trying to make a quality contribution. Any rough (and/or overly pompous) language is a result of frustration and not having English as my first language.

I'm no fool. I like polls, though.

I also like playing tanks, despite certain trends in WoT, but that's besides the point.
While I agree that game-related feedback on the forum is likely to be ignored for various reasons (not necessarily related to the EU staff), I suspect that community-related feedback might be more effective. Both the game and community (specials, events etc.) are important for my overall enjoyment of the game, but one happens to be easier to both reach and influence than the other.

This is actually meant to be a serious (albeit unofficial) poll, it's not merely to satisfy my curiousity. It's not really trolling either, but another shot at getting some attention through finding the resonance frequency. It might also happen to be what somebody needs for future use.

This should be fine - it's just an easier way of showing feedback after all. Also, less spam - everybody happy!

Ah, sorry, thought it was more like the standard response to pointless whining threads.

Since we are just being milked all day every day, more so than any other community, I'd say the WG head office is quite disrespectful of the EU community.

The EU people seem mostly incompetent. Seeing the amount of job offers for the Paris office floating around, I really don't know what all those people do all day if they can't even get accurate information on the website when something is going on.

It's a free to play game, so of course they can't address every whine, but basic stuff like server being down and severe bugs should be communicated rapidly and clearly. It's a joke that you have to wade through threads in the forum to find any info.

The milking theme is noted as a possible future poll, after one covering how EU staff handled the weekend problems and the ongoing chat issues.

I expect a more positive result due to decent communication and promised compensation - it's important to cover thw good stuff too.

While it is acceptable that staff do not comment on criticism on a regular basis, it is disappointing that it seems to be ignored. Ignoring hard numbers is not as easy.

I fully trust they will see the error of their ways and promptly deal with all persistent issues.

I was sooo close to ticking all boxes, really.
btw: The question about representing the company is a bit difficult to answer. That one should mostly yield positive answers, because the whole company is... "bad".

I know that people don't like what WG does with the community and the game, but wtf, their staff is a completely different thing.

Most of the people working at wg are just obeying commands.

an example which happens very often:

>start up wot

>get killed by op t8 prems

>go to forums

>BLAME WG STAFF FOR EVERYTHING

>try to feel better

Voted "Somewhat agree" to the politeness. Never when submitting a ticket was I ignored, disrespected, or denied without an explanation, so my from experience, they are polite.

News could be written sooner, especially on marathons, but it's not that bad.

The bad thing is how we are being ignored, even though we are the largest, or the 2nd largest community of WoT.

For example, I'd love if they voiced their own, honest opinion on things on the forums. Even if people disagree it's still better than outright ignoring them.

The EU staff are professional and represents their parent company well.

Strongly agree (7 votes [7.87%])

for a clarification of my vote here:

i think they(not those poor guys moderating this forum) represent their parent company prety well as they are incompetent as crapas WG is...

Hence the explanation in the first post, management is a more likely problem than the staff. Management we don't get to interact with. The staff are, in the end, WG's 'forum face'.

The point isn't to get personal. This is less so than providing post-by-post feedback to push a point through.

Still, it's notable that we were promised increased community interaction, yet as recent events have shown, those were not followed up on.

I've had varied response to my tickets, from very prompt, very professional and to the point to actually being made fun of at my expense. So... my attitudes to WG and their staff are somewhat varied, if not ambivalent right now.
