I haven't played for months and logged in just because i was bored and my Fallout 4 keeps CTD-ing and i was wondering what kind of surprise WG prepared for the consumers this time.

and voila, i checked the campaign and for some strange reason, i  was able to complete the 2 remaining missions using some kind of currency and suddenly i had my dream tank in my garage.

In past i spend enormous effort to get the 260 and i was 90% of the time screwed by the MM.

so i tuned it, put is4 crew in it and took it for a spin.....

in past i had impression what WG is very bad developer and it is only matter of luck they have such success and i was still expecting the change, something big which would make me return and enjoy the game as i got fed by usual issues.

when playing couple of Obj.260 games i realized that it is not game, it is people who keep me disgusted.

I never was an elitist but when i saw the amount of monkeys in my team which i could never trust on helping me win the game, i just closed it and i might check back when the HD maps come out.

the Obj.260... the dream.... its gone (the dream)

WG was a kinda promising developer - until players feathered them with all their money. Like so often. But they are not alone, many good games went that way, including Minecraft, which used to be one of the most promising games I ever played.

And yes, the playerbase is one of the worst problems the game has. But here WG is to blame, too, as they completely failed to educate and guide their players.

It's often the unattainable that keeps us playing, that lofty goal in the distance, ever creeping closer, but just out of reach.

Wouldn't surprise me if many people would think like you do Munro.Nnow that they do have the final Personal Campaign reward tank, no more goal to play for, but the game itself. And realize the game doesn't offer long term goals for them anymore, except yet another grind to some TX tank.

Me? I still find the KV-4 great fun & I got great & fun folks to toon with on a variety of tiers.

Don't insult apes, they are far more intelligent as what you see in randoms.

You are confusing Elitism with Slander.

Please show the number of *Monkey's* playing the game,  as in *actual Monkeys* rather than people who are drunk/disabled/not very good/offensive/whiny etc.

We are still talking about WoT, right?

Because that game has the absolutely worst playerbase I've ever seen in all the years I played multiplayergames.

And no, the players we're talking about here aren't disabled or drunk, they are just bad. Very bad. That's something you can state without any problem. Calling those people monkeys isn't nice, but it won't make anyone jump out of the window.

Unfortunately, preferably a 10th floor one.

Hyperbole, unless you have never played CoD, CS, WoW, LoL. etc etc etc etc.

But it tends to earn you a forum warning point, I got mine by suggesting that one-handed speciments could play WoT and do well very, very rarely.

I got one of my first warningpoints for calling my team stupid. No names, no screenshots. I just called a team stupid.

Aaah... those were the good ol days.

I played enough of those games.

Do you really want to argue that this playerbase is good, skilled and well educated about the gamemechanics when the most common reason to lose a match is not the fact that the enemy team had more skilled and intelligent players, but your team having too many completely clueless players?

And I'm not sure about other games, but I'm sure that in those games the distribution of bad and good players isn't 95% to 5%, with that many players playing at the level of a bot or worse...

Rose-tinted glasses, eh? :teethhappy:

Three-strike system sure is a funny one. I'm not gonna complain, but jeebas - primates are bad, making fun of WG is OK and flaming idiots is fine too.

Oh, and spam is fine as long as you include some on-topic stuff. What were we talking about again? Oh. Yeah. 260 kind of lost its special feeling; so I'm back to longing for the day where I always know what to do on every map. Knowing how my enjoyment of WoT has declined, I don't see that happening - i.e. a perfect personal goal!

The playerbase is the worst problem in every game. WOT is no exception and it's not WGs responsibility to educate the congenitally inept.

It is their responsibility to offer enough lead and guidance get people to understand the basic principles of the game, regardless of how dumb or smart a player is. And they still suck at that.

No, I am merely arguing that they are not actual Monkeys and despite his protestations OP is in fact elitist.

And again your reply is largely hyperbole

Edit: Do you also think Hasbro should send squads in to make sure people play Monopoly properly? Instead of just printing some rules and then letting people get on with it?

So you only see the 'monkeys' that are in your team. What about the 'monkeys' that are in the enemy team??

What do you think it would happen if everyone was good at this game? You would never be able to pass 49% winrate, this would happen.
