Hey guys so as you know there are now these personal mission achievement badges that if completed can be displayed next to your name and they also carry over to being displayed next to you name during battles. A nice idea I suppose however I'm not sure if you guys noticed but I have actually started to use these badges almost like some sort of XVM. Now I don't use XVM but are you guys starting to use PM badges as priority targets like me now?

Well I don't have to worry about that too much as I don't bother with PM these days and just play the class I want too so only have 1 PM badge but when I'm seeing a teammate with 3-4 and the red "fancy" pm badges I am taking confidence from that be-it fair confidence or misplaced confidence while I'm also very aware of the enemy players with them and when it's a tight battle I am thinking "right, that player is the real danger whereas those other 2 are just tomatoes".

Even at the start of a battle I find I am being influenced by these PM badges, are you? I look at the screen and go "decent team" or "wow, total morons... nice" and visa versa when looking at the enemy team.

Do you guys find yourselves thinking this way too and are we actually safer NOT attaching our PM badges?? Particularly those who have completed all or nearly all of them... isn't there now a real danger of getting arty focus or team focus from having these next to your name for the many that don't use XVM? Also isn't this putting unfair expectations on those that have lots to "carry" or deliver an epic game while others start getting lazy thinking the PM badged players are going to do amazing things during the battle?

I took mine off after a few odd "yolo from full hp, kill me with my remainder 300hp left and the tank charging me in a full hp ISU, for no reason at all and then shortly after he died anyways".  wish we could use all badges next to our name....rather than a select few.

PM badges are a nuisance and hopefully just a fad.

They don't represent player prowess - merely vanity.

i think it simply dont prove anything related to being good at this game. It mostly shows that player invested enough time in PM and thats it. On the other hand i guess clickers take attention to players with those marks.

they should just make a way to disable them ingame, all those badges on everyone is annoying as hell.

I use the Stug IV one because I am a proud owner of it, and want to share my epic accomplishments with my team mates and enemies, s on they know that that is a guy who know how to tank

No, I don't. Got my first campain badge displayed, but never check enemy names badge in battle, just the tank and give priority to the most dangerous model.

I know of both 60% and 48% players that have Obj 260's so badges don't really represent skill. I don't display any myself though..not for any particular reason other than I don't like them. :)

If they only display in the team lineups the it not be too bad as the clicker would have to translate that to the player and find them, unlike XVM which shows above the player in game which makes it a damn site easier to find them and focus them down.

No they are not lollll. Even bots can get the obj 260 now. Only gold shiny one can give you extra focus. So no there is no need to think you are a unicum if you have one of those shitty badges.

This

I had one on my name aswell and got focused on by the enemy even though there was a low hp higher tier tank pretty close to me pushing on.

So all I can say now is that I finally know what it feels like to be focused on.

Meh sith happens

Make sure that's a good game so you'll have nice and shiny super unicum stats on the tank for good ;)
