Please WG, explain why we can shoot our teammates? why you don't stop that feature. We all know that in other games you can not shoot or kill your teammate? Why you are leaving a such a bad feature available in this game???

I was shot by a teammate doing nothing, my engine knock out and half of my health...*edit i got banned for one hour. Is this fair???

But the question is: WHY WE CAN SHOOT OUR TEAMMATES???????

I got shot by a team "thing" for about 1000 damage. Was a Jag E100. *edit and proceeded to win the game.

*edit is my pleasure when I deal with stubborn people who are seeking attention. Please don't rob me of my pleasure.

Because wg wants realism in this game....yet half the tanks were only drew on a napkin at the pub from the corner of the street.

Shooting a team mate can be accidental ....... without the replay it may have been an accident he shot you. If the other guy didnt turn blue it probably shows he doesn't shoot his own team mates that often.

Post the Replay on wotreplays.eu let the forum decide who was the [edited]( Klaus reference )

Well, I shot people and only seldom I turn blue. You don't have to over do it. Just save it for the ultra annoying moments when someone is trying their best to piss you off.

Best trick is to make them believe you bail out and then *edit. Works wonders.

The thing is that he ruined my game, he was low health and *edit

But why WG doesn't disable that feature??? Because of realism??? Come one, this game is totally arcade....

It has taken you 5 years and 25K battles to come and ask this question. Does that mean it is a rare occurrence?

This issue gets brought up on a fairly regular basis, and most players respond indicating that is not a problem they come across very often.

Yes your ban is fair. You should know the rules by now. Never shoot green tanks.

intended teammate damage should get sever punishments or some players can ruin game performance.

in first ranked battle I was playing light tank at start of game I stayed some few seconds behind the bush in the middle to see how game develops and where is the best position to spot I got shot twice by HE gun of teammate type5 and lost almost all my HP funny think is that he shot some one else accidentally and got blue, team lost but he could still get chevron.

tracking teammate at bad situations or ramming  teammate (without damaging) to enemy fire line and so on, get almost no punishment

You have to love those arty players that thinks At15 is a good tank at spotting :)

What they should do is increase the credits penalty so it actually hurts your finance.

Its part of the game it makes you think more and be more careful about how you shoot,

You don't get banned for killing someone with one shot unless you have shot people in other battles as it is accumulative or in the starting area at start of battle or capping area at end of battle, even then you normally just turn blue if it is your first offence, so you must make a habit of shooting teammates so yes it is fair,

Send a replay in to support that will get them banned.

At least it no longer stops the cap getting shot by a so called teammate not like it used to unless of course you are killed :).

Friendly damage is something that allows you to use enemy as cover. If you cant see the value in that - go play quake arena. You can do rocket-jumps in there.

Easy enough to stop yet still keep the feature in the game.

Friendly fire means zero earnings from the game no XP no credits no missions achieved for the player doing the damage.

However still pays the fine and all his own expenses.

Removing friendly fire would mean players doing it all the time just for fun whereas at the moment Its something that doesn't happen often enough to worry about.

There is a friendly fire mod i've seen knocking about don't know if it's legal or not, that's supposed to stop you from shooting friendly tanks,

off course it doesn't stop others shooting at you and you wont be able to shoot back unless there's someway to turn it off in-game.
