Is it just me or does it remind you of Northwest?

Klondike

Northwest

Railroad and steel bridge on west, water east, mountains north, such difference, much wow.

A bit....maybe even of Severogorsk.

But you misspelled the name. It's clonedyke.

It does have a similar vibe, yes. Also made me think of Severogorsk.

I hope it. I loved Nortwest map. Nice atmosphere, with those beautiful mountains, the trees, the rivers. It can be wonderful in HD!

Awfull map!

Way too little cover, too little vegetation, too few bumps, large deathtraps and less than 20% of the map usable.

Nice for brawling and that's it.

I hated that map. It's the only map so far where everyone just stuck to the red line, and more or less ignored the middle. A line for TD's and camping meds. 1 line for yolo meds and camping TD's. Then the 9 line for HT's and yolo lights. If you used the 2 line road to go to the A line. You died before you got half way.

Going by the screens, they seem to have a closed middle factory area to. But the lay of the land kinda looks different. Not easy to say. But as long as it's more open, with less high ground roads along the red line. I don't think it will be as bad.

Thank you.

Visually nice. Top image also gives hope for some good gameplay.

The other 2 seems to have some issues.

But without playing nor having a top down view.

It seems like it has potential.

Waaaaaaaay better then Paris, Charkow and Stalingrad and Pilsen.

I mean, Northwest was a mining village while Klondike is a region known for gold mining, in northwest Canada. Even the naming is lazy, and they look very much the same, with landscape being differentiated by adding snow.

First pic was very Severorgorsk to me. Especially that sweeping raised area with different levels looks like the old less corridory flank of severogorsk.

It obviously looks like a non-HD map, so I'm actually puzzled what's their approach in terms of introducing new maps in the near future.

I also liked North West map, although it had some flaws. Severogorsk was the most uninspiring and among the worst, gameplay wise imo. :)

Too bad I have the 30v30 mode disabled.
