I've decided its time for me to grind a super heavy tank out, i'm not really a fan of them, however if i go back to CW's or decide to make a troll platoon of 3 super heavies i kinda need one. In game at the moment it appears that there are 4 tanks that fall into this category Maus, E100, Pnz 7 and the Type 5. Taking into account the grind, the meta of lights and prem spam, and the end result (the tier X tank) which is the better line to take?

Out of Type 5 and Maus i'd say Maus's armor is better, but Type has that stupid arse premium HE, so it's kinda' better.

Your choice.

Panzer VII is an interesting tank. The lowerplate is  T H I C C  and it has a gun mantlet as a weakspot.

I am ignoring two of them because the game doesn't need more of those tanks, one in particular. I won't name them

Maus, even before you consider how the Type 5 has certain, ahem, features that makes it a likely target for the rasp of nerf.

...well, SerB would use a rasp. Murazor's more like. Uhm. Well, like this:

Maus Imo. Type 5 is more dreaded due to the derp, but Maus is more flexible (OMG I never thought I could type this with a straight face) The armor layout & gun rof offers more opportunities on play imo.

Also, VK 100 will offer you the first insight if you like to play that style of tank (slow & armored); if you don't, know that the line doesn't change from then on.

For the Type 5 grind, if you enjoy O-Ho, you'll likely enjoy Type 5.

Also, triple Type 5 toon surely is more troll then triple Maus.

If you give a rats [edited]about not contributing to making this game completely broken/p2w, don't go for the type5.

Got nerfed quite hard. Its still decent, but absolutely powerless compared to what it was. I would rank it 2nd worst of the Japanese super-heavies.

O-Hohoho is bit different, and some people dislike the O-Ho but might still be able to enjoy the Type 5, so its not as good indicator about the Type 5 like the VK 100 is compared to the Maus.

There is also the Type 4. If you enjoy the O-Ho it doesnt mean that you will enjoy the Type 4. I enjoy the O-Ho but didnt enjoy the Type 4.

Take the E100. Is the more balanced one, got 750 alpha that makes all the ammo type valuable and is quite agile for the mass it has.
