The shot that killed me is quite obviously impossible. At no point is his hull above ground at the level needed to aim and shoot me.

I can not aim at him, I can not see it, I can not have it highlighted yet the Sturer Emil manages to shot, hit and kill me.

Maybe it's time to move on from excuses and start doing something about cheating in this game.

Replay files can't be uploaded directly, added a zip. I find this game similar to an abusive relationship in many respects.

I kept investing time and money hoping it would be better, but it never is.

Impossible late spotting, impossible laser aim shots, impossible bounces on paper thin armor...

Thing you gotta remember is... that your sight is not at the top of your tank. So just because you don't see him... don't mean that they can't see you.

Then again do you play on med to low settings? As the terrain hitbox remains the same. Parts of the terrain might seem bigger or smaller then they really are on lower settings. Thus many believe they are safe on their screen, as they are fully behind cover. But on the enemy's screen. Half your tank is sticking out.

And in this case the cheat would be what? You have 32 000 games. I'm sure you know that the terrain hitbox is not on the client. It's still the server that calculates what his gun do and hits. Not his "cheats".

You can clearly see his gun over the ridge when he shoots you.  Nothing impossible at all

This.

Trusting the sniper view too much... I often make exactly the same mistake... :(

Nope.  Not watching his own replay is the problem.  He had a clear shot in the top of the tank to overmatch him.

Did you watch the replay yourself before trying to upload it? No, you didn't.

Maybe it's time to move on from excuses and start learning how the game works?

An other baddie gets owned by his own stupidity, and what does he do?

learns from his own replay and improve?

Nooo, he goes to the forum starting a new hack accusation thread,

like we didn't have enough of those :sceptic:.

Indeed. Also for those who haven't time to watch have here a screenshot from the situation. The muzzle of Emil's  gun is in no way obscured:

Look what I can see in the same replay at the same 2:33... no St. Emil, no muzzle, no red shape.

Turn down your foliage and flora  settings, switch camera mode zoom in, you will see him and find outline.

Thanks for advice. But what I meant is: if OP settings are the same as mine (nearly all max), he could watch his own replay all day long, and still not see where enemy is.

Don't you find somewhat disturbing that you have to lower your graphical settings if you want to be able to aim enemy tanks? Or is it just me?

I can otherwise clearly see the tank with max graphics, perhaps an issue on your side?

If you want a screenshot, you’ll have to wait as I am currently laying in bed and can’t be bothered to get out and redownload the replay.

Mate, no problem, I trust that you see it.

I myself know that different PC configurations and game settings give different results when it comes to rendering tanks, foliage etc.

Still, such a BIG difference as showing or not showing the red silhouette for the whole size of the gun mantlet, not just a few pixels... it's disturbing.
