Hello community,

This is a topic I wanted to start long time ago when I had and had no time for playin and the thing that bothered me most was... I buy one day of premium... just as I went in game... I suddenly have something to do... so I leave... come back tomorow...and guess what.... my premium time is down.... gotta buy new one.... new one to play an hour or lets say 5 at most.... it's like I buy cigarettes that smoke themselves up... has no sence whatsoever to me.... so I was woundering.... why is not premium time given in hours.... and starts to countdown as soon as u get in game and stops when u stop playin.... tjat would have a lot more sence ... wouldn't it... let me know what any of you think about this idea....

I believe it would have a lot of sence if premium time was counted in hrs while you are online and playing only... I would like to see that....

This is not bad idea but this mean less money for wg. So if wg care about players as they say they will consider about this or they just continue to pull players money...

it's never gonna be actual time... 1months prem would last folks for a full year.

How about 50% reduced rate when not online.

WG money making. They make money out of you whether you play or not. So they won;t change that.

But there already is an option, just buy and use personal reserves instead of premium time.

Hmm you buy a car on leasing, and no one ask you how many Km you make per day/year.  You just need to pay for it

go hire a car for 1 week from any dealer and then tell him you only drove it for 2hours in the week so you want another 6 days and 22hrs hire.....let me know how that works out for ya ;)

I would like this idea. However I don't see this being implemented.

Wargaming relies heavily on weaknesses in players' psychology. You buy premium, then you worry about it being wasted when not playing. You then want to play as much as possible, and this can possibly lead to you become hooked.

As someone mentioned it is also a win for them when you buy premium time - you pay even if you don't play.

The only thing to make them change their mind is if a large number of players stops buying premium and demands that it's implemented. To be honest I'm not seeing it happening.

WG could do it of course, but they could also do it in a way that it's just as expensive in the end as buying a "normal" prem account.

If you like to run with a prem account buy a year's worth yearly, when it's on a discount - you can 99% guarantee this will happen at Christmas.

It's not a home... nor car.... its a game.... WG silently removes ways of getting credits without prem tanks...prem time... tban tbey cbange this and that...ive given so many times good for tanks i like by makin them shine and so on.... and then they nerf that tank... i dont play it... sell it.... where is my gold.... ?? So same thing with pr3m.... u buy month but play like around 100 hrs of 30 days of prem.... thats around 5 days of gameplay.... I dont see the reason why should I buy it anymore..... ???

This basically. There's MMO's that actually only let you pay for the hours you are online, but that package tends to be alot more expensive then a flat out month subscription (but can end up cheaper if you don't play much anyway). They do tend to give you a choice on what to get, but generally, you're cheaper off with the flat month subscription if you play it regularly.

As some others have mentioned, the boosters you can buy are essentially WoT's version of it. Buy them, pop them when you know you got an hour to spare & enjoy your short time boost.

If they'd sell premium time that only counts down while being online, the price would go up by factor 5-10 at least.

100 hours for 2500 gold or 10 euro, so 25 gold/hour, or 0.10 euro per hour. Seems like a very good price. Now lets take a casual player that only plays like 10 hours a month, for him it would be 250 gold or 1 euro per hour currently. So if WG would use him as reference for your idea, you'd pay 25k gold a month. Still sounds like a good idea to you?

And if you think premium time isn't worth it then just don't buy it anymore, simple as that.

Buy a premium tank, it's a one off payment and its like having premium time all the time.

It would be supercool, if they had some sort of system in place that would allow you to choose when and how much of a boost you need

You know, something like 50% more XP for one hours + 100% more freeXP for 2 hours, +50% more credits for 1 Hour.

Then you could mix and match which benefits you want and maximize the use them.

Equally WG could sell them for actual money in the premium shop and have another in game consumable that they could give away as rewards for missions or something like that,

This is such a brilliant idea I don't know why they haven't already through of it,.

P.S would you expect your car manufacturer to refund you bits of the price of the car while you left it parked on your driveway because you were too busy playing tanks to actually go anywhere?

How much do you think they'd charge for it if it worked like that?
