Admittedly, the thread was a few years old, but at 489 replies, with regular replies for at least the past few months, how is this an "old thread"? It's the only Charioteer thread on the entire forum. And forbidden to bump old threads? It was on the first page for like forever considering nobody cares about the specific tank by nation threads. If "dead threads" are at #5 of those sub-topics, maybe adress the sub-topics and not just close the thread like a lazy person who doesn't want to spend any effort on doing his or her job.

This is utter bs what happened here. Shame on you, moderators. I'm asking politely to re-open the thread and share my opinions on the tank. I know it will be read and replied.

This thread?

http://forum.worldof...iew__getnewpost

Utterly ridiculous.
Thread per tank unless there is a specific question is how that subsection has always been.

Polestar the last reply before yours was over a year ago... they probably missed it the first time, but then saw it when your buddy also replied.

Make a new thread.

Well.  I've reported the closing post for binning a perfectly good thread for that section.

Maybe http://forum.worldof...45447-tiger-ii/ should be closed as it was started in 2011?

Make a new thread.

 It's a different forum section.

Single threads are the norm there.  It means that unpopular tank's threads don't end up on page 20 and lost

If that's asking politely then you need etiquette lessons,

by the way discussing moderation's is also against the rules.

If they knew how to moderate it wouldn't need discussing.

In north korea its illegal to talk badly against the regime, so does that mean we should stop talking about that and pretend nothing bad is going on there?

Am i comparing the Forums to north korea? Yes, Yes i am

another example of the double standards so prevalent on the forum, the actions of the mods are inexplible at times, depend purely on which mod is on /off duty.

I has job. I must do something. What can I do? I can completely fail to understand a sub-forum structure. Job done.

Do you get the feeling, that interest in what they are doing, is not top of the list of things in their day.

Looks like he is charismatic enough for everyone and his dog to sport his comb over fade hairstyle voluntarily.

I'm baffled, the Charioteer was recently buffed, so the thread is within context for being 'the continuing story of the Charioteer'. I wonder what the actual defined cut off period is before it's considered 'bumping' a thread? Anything in the rules or is it a vague touchy feely sort of thing?

According to the forum rules under #1 at the bottom.

Block Quote

Do not "bump" posts

and under #4 also at the bottom.

Block Quote

Bumping posts (unless it is expressly allowed in the sub-section)

So according to this anything can be a bump since it's not clarified what a bump actually is...

Bumping a thread is posting something pointless just to bring a thread back to the top of the list or back onto the first page,

also posting 2 or 3 times in a row with no other responses between them again solely for the purposes stated above,

or commenting on your own post like "hmmmm 100 views and not a single comment" again for the purposes stated above.

Stuff like that is classed as bumping a thread,

basically anything that is not a genuine reply to the post made for the sole purpose of bringing the post back to the top of the page or back onto front page.

This was adequatly spoken. My hatred is deeper than put into words here. Also, if moderators were anything more better at moderating I wouldn't have that hatred to start with.
