When it takes 4 team damaging shots in a row to get banned the mechanic isn’t working. The lovley little interaction is between 8:30-7:10.

That just shows that it's working just as it's intended. Sure, it's not perfect, but you come up with a better solution.

So what? You want it to be based on damage so that 152mm derp gets insta banned? Or 2 shots to get insta banned... you know since pz1c usually hits with 4 pr burst.

Really nothing off here. I can team damage 3 times in a row without getting suspended. Simply because I tend not to, and damage opponents instead. If the culprit rarely if ever inflicts team damage, then this is how it works. Granted, the team damage was completely uncalled for but I fail to see the flaw here. Next time this particular player will turn blue and/or receive the suspension sooner. And if he/she keeps this behavior up, the punishment will become more severe. 

 

But of course it must be flawed, as it did not do what you want it to do... Please don't come crying on forum when you get banned for a single shot of team damage, or two.

Exactly. Make it single shot of team damage and surely OP here would have started a thread how it's so unfair he got suspended (and this system is flawed) as the team damage was unintentional. Or only to 'protect himself'. We get a single somewhat extreme case and suddenly the whole system is useless of course. While in fact the only thing useless here is the actual thread.
