Prokowawawa - i will always *edit on this map

I refuse to sit in a corner for [edited]15 minutes.

That's how you """""" play """""" this map and apparently everyone around here has pudding for brain and is OK with that.

No you cant.

 

You get shot the moment you move and lose.

Hill is a fat target for arti and camp is a target for hill

Grinding along the ridge gets you killed with lights and its a [edited]awful map no matter what.

 

ONLY one having "fun" is artillery players. Literally. By the word. Only those. Nobody else.

 

its the worst map for mediums and especially heavies... and if you dont have a scout as TD - guess what, you are *edit.

 

Right now i watch on my 2nd screen a T95 die slowly........ sounds fun hm?

Even he barely made half of the way before being *edit trough his uber armor.

 

This is "fun"

This is "gameplay"

This is wg at its worst

 

An ape with a typewriter could do a better map!

 

i know i can.

anyone can.

you can!

they can't!

 

Refusing to give that [edited]map a rework for ........ how long?

 

Oh sorry they did rework it once and added fancy planes on start and cool fireworks............ THANKS WARGAMING... did help a lot !

 

The devs can WAR themselves in their GAMING!

It sucks for super heavies but most other tanks can make it work, also it's one of the few remaining open maps in rotation.

So OP you never had the idea to go on top of the hill and f.e. shoot the guys next to the tracks or go to the tracks and shoot the guys on the hill? And also why don't you go cry in the german forum?

I like this map. 

Yes, it can be frustrating.

Yes, if your scouts dont do their job, the Heavies and TD's are blind. If the enemy scouts do a better job, then enemy arty has a field day, but it requires teamwork. That is a concept some players cannot grasp. 

I love surfing the middle ridge line in a Light or a Cromwell. I love sniping at the enemy lights in a Hellcat or Matilda, or anything remotely accurate. 

Remember, other than blind fire, you are only going to get shot is spotted. Careful movement, using bushes, not rushing, these will get you into position to shoot any enemy spotted by your team. 

Of course, if your spotters fail, you and the rest are screwed. I cannot deny that. So you need to avoid the obvious camping corners. If you have a couple of teammates in one corner, go to the bushes by the railway. Maybe you can catch the enemy in crossfire that way. 

 

Problem is, that many players dont like to think. They just want to find an enemy and start shooting. Brawl, brawl, brawl is their mantra. 

Even on the hill, a fast medium can find a bush and spot, and then be prepared to run when spotted themselves. But again, many players see that as running away. "No", they say, "I have to stay and fight". Then arty hits them, or a TD and they complain its the map's fault. Wrong. Its the fault of the players who have lost sight of the "team" aspect of the game or who have become blinkered and refuse to think further than "oo! An enemy. Must engage him".

That map is only as bad as you make it. I've had plenty of fun rounds in all classes, as I don't sit at A1 waiting for damage. HT's is the only one that sucks on it at times. But going 6 line with no arty, even that can be fun.

 

That map is a "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" kinda map. Hill and 6 line have that going. If one don't spot, and only shots on the other line etc. The other line will suffer for it. And when you give up constantly yoloing instantly, even on a HT.. basically being a part of the issue. Then you usually lose right to moan about it.

Did you buy that account by any chance? Because an over average player should know how to make that map work...

The only situation where that map can become a tad annoying with heavy tanks is when there ia a lot of (toptier) arty. Otherwise it's one of the best maps in the game. It offers good possibilities for contribution to every kind of tank.

 

But hey, I'd also go total crybaby because of a map I'm forced to play once in 20 matches.

Should not come as a surprise that most played class by OP is heavy tanks. Just your typical 'I want everything in front of me at close range in a city map' player... You know, the one Wargaming decided to cater for when they reworked all maps and the one they have in mind when designing new maps like Pilsen and Paris. Now those are gems. Those are great maps.

Remove artillery damage and give them flare bombs!

 

Does anybody remember those 8 artillery (each side!) games on that map?

That map is one of the best maps in the game if not THE best. If you don't know how to make it work, then I feel bad for you.

 

Oh, and if you suicide with me on your team or the enemy team, be sure you will get my report. :P
