Hi chaps.

Am I missing something here, I have about 500 large repair kits in my depot yet when I swap a small kit for a large on my tier 10s it charges me 50 gold.

My question is how do I use the kits in my depot.

Thanks in advance.

Change, in drop down menu, from gold to silver. I always do this.

Do you have resupply ticked?

Strange though if you have that many in depot as to why you are getting charged...

It is just telling you how much they cost if you were to replace them, in the column to the left of the price it tells you how many are in the depot and this number will go down as you use them. Showing you the cost is redundant if you have 500, but the system needs to show somebody who has 1 how much they will be charged if they auto re-supply.

Or you could just change the drop down box to credits, as noted above.

Just sell them and use regular ones. The benefit, for most of the tanks is marginal since they introduced multi-use kits.

not true. if you get tracked and ammo-racked at the same time, you rather wait 90 sec to finally be able to repair your ammo-rack? XD

And how often that happens? This is one of the few scenarios when large repair kit is really needed. Besides, it's only 90s.

I would wait even 120 seconds to save 17k credit! :teethhappy:

I think they reduce the module probability damage... liek the large medkit reduces the probability of crew death and the fire extinguisher reduces fire probability.

No, but it should give an extra 15% of repair speed.

it's rng mr-knows-it-all-better, but I bet you don't to find out. those 90 seconds can cost you a lot of wins.

next dumb decision. if you buy them for 20k you're doing it wrong. you get a lot of them for completing (personal) missions and you should buy them when they are half price.

Nope. I don't run large repair kit even in Leo PTA, a tank known for being ammo-racked even if someone farts too loud 5 meters away. And my win rate in it is fine, thank you, oscilates around 60% after 130 battles.

I'd only use large repair kits in turretless TDs to speed up track repair. But that's just me, mr-knows-it-all-better :P

If you use XVM you can set a gold + free xp locker and also default buy for credits on everything.

I don't see any reason why you would use them in a medium anyway.. and I never suggested that. Besides that, it has nothing to do with the ammorack itself, and you know that. if not, read better.

You actually did, I referred to this with my Leo example:

Anyway, use them if you wish, it's your call.

Or you could just pay attention to the resupply notification which tells yo how much you spent.  Or the after battle report, or the totals section of the resupply screen.

Even at half price, I still save 8.5k credit (8-6 standard ammo cost).

In addition, now that consumable are reusable, after you have used a small repair kit you may be able to use it again at the end of the battle to repair damaged modules and save money on repair cost. In high tier it sometimes pay back its own cost acting this way!

so if you get them for free, you sell them?

the example you give, I already use, wether I have a large repair kit or small. not being able to perform well enough for your team because of several modules being knocked out and being able to repair one and then wait can really have affect on the battle's outcome, especially when playing a heavy and not being able to relocate fast enough to either help allies or decap.

I play almost only HT. The most damaged modules I get are tracks. If I play badly, I can get ammoracked, but happens only rarely.

I had really few battle where I got ammoracked and tracked. And usually is arty fault, so I can wait for manual track repair and use the kit for ammorack.

It's not convenient, for play style, to use premium consumables. It gives too low advantage for a too high cost, at least for random. I keep a 50 units reserve for each of them for CW, but the exeeding is sold to found new tanks.
