Basically we get 1 extra crew member (that it always should have had as a premium = crewtrainer) but everything else is hammered into the ground.

1300DPM 1150 DPM on a tier 8 light tanks while the Batchat12t already has 1600DPM which is too little to make it really effective.

T8 mediums are already considered underpowered with their 1800DPM while T7 and T9 get 2200+ DPM and here is Wargaming thinking it's a good idea to give a light tank 1300DPM.

It doesn't matter if it has an autoloader or not, the trade-off should be doing burst damage or doing consistent damage but the DPM should be roughly the same, like on the T57 heavy.

And 2.3s aimtime while the Bc12t has 2.1 which is far too slow for a light tank? 380 viewrange? Who is making these number up?

Look, I enjoy the Batchat 12t somehow but it's one of the worst light tanks in the game at the moment, also statistics wise. Making a premium which is vastly worse than it really is not a smart thing to do.

Light tanks need good/great gun handling, good viewrange, solid camo and speed. Especially in "World of Corridors" and "World of Steve the IS7 Driver"

============================================

UPDATE 1:

And the second round of completely unnecessary nerfs hit this vehicle, now it not only has laughable tier 6 DPM and potato accuracy but they made sure the aimtime and dispersion would be atrocious as well. One really wonders which 5 year old kids are doing the balancing in this game when they release the Defender in the state it was released in and nerf an actually skill based class completely into the ground for no reason.

ELC EVEN 90:

The aiming time has been increased from 2.4 seconds to 2.7 seconds;
Aim scatter distribution was increased from 0.12 to 0.14 m (nerf).

============================================

UPDATE 2:

1150DPM........on a tier 8 light tank where the average DPM is 2000...........Wargaming please put down the XML editors and hire some people that can actually do proper balancing because this is beyond pathetic.

Couple that with atrocious gun handling *AND* laughable mobility and you really have to wonder what is going on.

I was looking forward to this tank but with these stats it's absolutely not worth it.

============================================

UPDATE 3:

Two more CC's who are just as negative

============================================

UPDATE 4:

There we go, another one.

It's basically a smaller SP1C with speed and no dpm to even win a 1 on 1 vs a tier 6.

Of course, if you cram 3 crew into that tin can then performance will suffer.

Well more crew makes it faster to train crew skills and easier chance of not getting 2 crew knocked out and dead regardless. my blackdog got splashed and one of my crew got knocked out. 2 crew would be horrible.

ELC E-90 is pretty crap at everything.. it would make a poor tier 7.

I think this tank represent the skill of wot balance development crew, and will therefor buy the tank. I aint easy to make  computergame with rocks and wood, but they made it.

It's not only rock and wood, they're also using lots of crap, especially lately. You know, for consistency. To make the rock and wood stick.

Yeah it's really quite laughable that they are even considering these stats.

Either they release tanks like the Defender which are broken/overpowered or they test things that are so bad they should not see the light of day.

I was complaining about the Bc 12t too... it's just annoying. It feels like a tier VII tank.

It's a new light tank. WG absolutely hates light tanks. So obviously it's absolutely awful.

Had to look under  the meaning of "fyp".

But yes. With the talk on the obj263 it seems WG absolutely detest anything that doesn't follow their generic role.

World of Heavy Tanks

World of Removal of Weakspots

World of Russian clone-Tanks

Everything to appease to Steve the IS-7 driver. Seems he has the biggest wallet.

I hope they can it and do a proper tank instead.

f.e. this one  would be a nice max tier 6 ( tier 8 is flooded already ) light tank trainer for a 3 (wo)man crew based on the AMX13 chassis http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/coldwar/France/AMX-13-DCA/

I know it's an AAA tank but we have a bofors cannons in the game already and the toaster is also in the tech tree.

I mean, the 240 x 5 was too much for a tank that is really fast, close to be smallest vehicle in the game and that has -9 depression (it was basically a quite alot buffed pre-9.18 amx 13 90 that trades 1 shell for much better mobility, -9 dep, better MM, better gn handling and being like 50% smaller). I just think they should have dropped the clip size to 4 x 240 or even 3 x 240, but then buffed the reload and intra-clip reload to compensate and keep the DPM (in fact it would have been fine if they even buffed it). But 220 x 3 with 1.3k DPM? That is just sad and an utterly overkill nerf.
