Why doesn't the dog in my Rudy bark?

I've never heard him bark? I think I want my money back, it was a selling point... :coin:

Never heard mine either. Think they killed the dog in the 9.14 patch 20 months ago or so when they changed a bunch of sounds. Standard WG coding, you know.

With WG's recent bugs and broken features,

you should be grateful that the dog is silent,

lest it starts meowing or reciting Finnegans Wake.

Yup they broke it when they added the stupid flashbulb charging sound for 6th sense.

 

Now it's selling point is that the crew matches high tier Russian mediums.

Yes I remember the big thread about it... a WG mod even tried to deny that rudy had barked ever.... I guess I must have imagined the barking.

I just clicked on the Szarik and he barked like he always has. Not sure what you're on about, any mods, maybe?

He means the 6th sense barking, not clicking the icon.

6th sense barking is sadly broken for ages.

 

Edit: Wargaming should either fix it or compensate us, because it was part of the product we bought and they broke it.

Its all the little babies and the whingers and whiners, 

you used to here a dog yelping when you ran over their kennels but some little babies complained it was upsetting so they removed the dog sounds.

It's supposed to bark when your 6th sense goes off in battle.  I'd have thought the notes above would have given a hint at that.

Someone else said that, no real mention about the bark being the 6th sense sound, and since I've only heard him bark in the garage, that's what I thought they were talking about. But hey, all good.

When the Rudy first came out the dog didnt bark. I made a topic about that. A patch (or two) later they fixed it and it did bark when spotted. Only to break it ag again a patch later and it never worked since.

I'd be afraid what would happened to the game if they patched the barking after recent "successful" patches.
