It's the same-old-same-old almost every day now.

The same people spouting the same nonsensical gibberish.

Don't get me wrong, some of you chaps/chapettes are alright (Jabster/AlabamaTick/Heidenseiker etc etc), but I find myself bored here now - even started jabbing people just to see if I can get a rise out of them - and that's just sad.

Well, have to admit that some topic are way too frequent, but almost every day there is at least a good thread to discuss.

Yeah that really is sad, especially when you see it from a experienced member with several thousand posts. Some of them can barely say one sentence without being sarcastic or passive aggressive. Still alot of good dudes though, I just wish there was a ignore list to put some of the toxic ones on :/

'I hate arty'

'I hate premium ammo'

But you're right, there is the occasional decent topic - seems a shame that they tend to disintegrate into petty arguments.

I don't like the fact that I sink to that level on occasions.

You are correct tho, there are a good amount decent people on here, it's just a shame that any non-repetitive topics all tend to end the same way.

Always something of interest, usually.

There seems to be a good eclectic mix of folks on the forum some funny, laughed my socks off at times,  some far to serious and all points in between.

Most of the good guys already left years ago, but there are still a few good guys left to joke around with. And countertrolling dumb people, ragers and/or kids will never get old, either.

Agreed, there are a few good people here (would count yourself amongst them) and yes, counter-trolling arty haters is fun :)

Forum is still ok, less and less old hands though as WG keeps forcing them away with their bullsh@t game changes and mechanics that are broken.

Considering all the issues of late. This forum has been better then any drama or soap on the TV.

With the exception of it being the same episode over & over & over...

Has the forum become boring? Yet again WG are being blamed for a problem created by players. :sceptic:

I don't know about boring but it's certainly predictable, to the extent that I rarely bother to comment on the more regular subjects because there's only so many times you can have the same discussion with the same tired responses. None of the ranters are ever going to turn around and say, "that's a good point which I hadn't considered, maybe I should rethink my position on this issue" because to them that's a sign of weakness. Which is odd because I think the barely-considered ranting and unwillingness to discuss matters in a civil fashion is a far greater sign of a weak mind.

There is. At the top of the page click on the head & shoulders icon and choose "My Settings" from the list which pops up, then you'll see "Ignore Preferences" on the left-hand side. You have to enter the name of the person you're ignoring manually but it does the job.

Yea but the whole point of the forum is to troll the crap out of the nonsensical gibberish, isn't it? :P

So, generally speaking the forum has become boring - same discussions with the same fundamentalists etc.

I'm not quite sure how you managed the leap to 'WG being blamed' - that was certainly not my intention.

Don't you find the same trolling with the same people a tad repetitive?

It was an attempt at humour - WG supplies the forum software in the same way as they supply light tanks which many players use as snipers in order to boost their imaginary numbers; it's not WG's fault that players do that in the same way as they're also not responsible for the majority of the whines posted on here.

Shut up, I am funny, you just don't understand my humour.

I don't know about you but it keeps constantly and repeatedly amazing me how ignorant and stupid some people can be.. :D It's like a human experiment of sorts, see how much stupid you can draw into one place with just a handful of different lures.
