Since when did killing a teamm8 cause a ban?

Seen dozens kill allies on purpose for no reason without getting a 1 hour ban and suddenly when i do i cos some nutjob found it funny to keep ramming me...

So i ask... since when and why do only some ppl get an automated ban when killing an annoying teamplayer who shoots and annoys the entire team?

There is just one thing to remember. DONT SHOOT GREEN TANKS.

It doesn't matter what they do to you, if you dont retaliate you won't get banned.

Since always.

You do very little damage per game, so it's actually easier for you to get banned than someone who does far more good for their team.

As a general rule. 3 shots will turn you blue, 4 will get you an automated ban.

Your global and in battle damage ratio (enemies vs allies) is also tracked. So team damage often will cause you to turn blue and get banned with potentially less damage than this. Bear in mind that while ramming an ally doesn't appear to be weighted as highly as shooting them, you will still be automatically banned if you do it enough.

DON'T SHOOT THE GREEN ONES.

It's not based on how many you kill. It's based on how many shots you do. As in 3 to 4 hits regardless of damage. So that a KV-2 don't get insta banned when he fires at a target 400m away, and a light comes into his line of fire 375m away after he fires.

If you got banned, then either you hit him multiple times, and you were blue before the final shot. Or you had done 1 shot here and there, and got banned instantly for it. As it's not just on a pr game basis. It keeps track over several games.

I forget exactly when but I'm pretty certain it was 2011, might have been earlier.
