Do you think that the Mutz will be available on Christmas for an acessible price (35€ ) ?

And does it play like the Leopard 1? I used the Leo1 in Common Test and it was super fun.

It's playstyle is very similar indeed, paper medium with an ok gun and nice mobility.

However, comparatively the Leopard 1 has better penetration tier for tier and also better camo I think.

Still, I like playing the Mutz although I mostly play it in skirmishes.

€35 sounds about right. Guess it plays a bit like the Leopard, in that it's fairly fast and has no armor. Problem is, it has a 240-damage gun and is a T8 medium tank. It's not the worst, but you can get a better tank for less.

STA-2 is not that different from the Mutz, for instance - and is generally regarded as the third-best T8 prem-medium (after Lorraine 40t and M4A1 Rev.).

If you need a German medium tank (because of crew training), the Mutz is certainly better than the Panther 8.8 - but unless you have to get a T8, the Panther/M10 is much better. Looks dinky, but it is generally not frustrating to play - a huge deal if you're going to play it a lot. Not seeing T9s makes it that much better to play. Wait for a 30% discount, likely on a T7 tank.

Wait, the STA is actually good? Last time I asked a few months ago, everyone said it sucked.

I'd buy the Mutz or the Schwarz if I could, the tank looks pretty good. The bad DPM can be easily countered if you just stay on long range and keep moving. DO NOT get into CQC fights if you buy it.

Btw nice choice in music Tiger

STA-2 is much better ever since they buffed the standard ammo pen and the mobility.

Mutz is a downgraded Indien Panzer. Nothing worth talking about

Is that panther/M10 really that good? I am looking for some german medium crew trainer and this one crossed my mind. I mean mobility and gun handling looks decent, gun dep is good enough as well and it doesnt suffer from terrible T8 MM but that gun is very underwhelming. Low alpha and especially low pen. It has the same pen as meds tier lower or td 2 tiers lower... I guess I could get T55a as I am pretty close to it with my very sporadic playing over the last few years but I am not that fond of wasting so much credits on crew training as it has the same problem as T54..

Probably we'll see it. I'm hoping for the M41 90 to make a return and the T92 Light tank to finally release.

The panther M10 is great if you like DPM. No massive alpha here, but it is basically the E25 with a turret and a hull that is just made for ramming.

It´s pretty decent. Mobility isnt great but enough to go around. Armor is quite troll against lower-pen guns, even turret is decent-ish with some gun depression. High HP pool means you can take a few more risks and push enemies out of crucial positions. Penetration is strangely pretty average for a pref MM tank. I mean there are a bunch of tier 7 meds with very similar guns and same or lower pen that get full blown match making. Oh, and also, this tank is pretty fun for ramming.

It doesnt make tier 8 money, but it also a lot cheaper than a tier 8 premium, and a pretty comfortable crew trainer.

Yes Mutz is a gimped Indien Panzer, the M10 is much more effective and fun. The Indien Pz itself is a painless tank to reach, nothing horrible on the journey, so I'd just head that way and see how you feel after playing it and then think if the Leopard is worth the extra push for you. Myself I love the idea of the Leopard 1, but I'm not sure I could be good with it.

The Turan is good fun just crappy ammo capacity lets it down. The t55a is available for free too if u can complete missions. U dont see that many mutz, m10 and 8.8... i always assumed it was because they are UP.

I struggled with it. I really sucked with it and it sits in my garage under utilised at the moment.

I think it's me and German mediums thing

I want to get the Mutz because that way I can train my german medium crews AND make lots of credits. I've been looking into the Revalorise, had a great time on CT, but I simply hate french tanks. And as my first premium tank, I wanted to "kill two rabbits with one stone".

The problem I find with the Mutz is that it needs a half decent crew to make it work, unless of course you're a very very good player. That kind of negates the tanks ability as a crew trainer.
