What are you impressions of higher tier LT gameplay today?

Do you still want to buy AMX 13 105, undecided or a definite no?

I am quite disappointed as I am nearing the end of the 13 90 grind,

the whole exrcise feels redundant as better players in top mediums spot just as well.

I won't bother getting the 13 105, will focus more on mediums.

I rebought the 13 90 from discount after like 2 years to see if the changes have made it good, played it for a few games, figured it was a really bad 13 57 and plan on selling it once I get the full sale price in a few days. It feels like the premium Lorraine at tier 9 that has worse alpha and no gun depression, with a bit better mobility and camo. I've been told it's one of the best tier 9 light tanks which quickly convinced me that light tanks aren't my thing unless they have good guns. Unfortunately the only two light tanks I've played with good guns in my life are 13 57 and Type 64. Sticking to them for the foreseeable future, I just see no point in playing tanks with zero armor and poor guns in a meta where those are the exact areas you want your tank to do well at.

No, XP requirements for the T10 lights are just stupid.

Nope, I'm happy enough with my 13 90 which I really like. There is 0 incentive for me to play/grind tier 10 lights.

I've sold my 13 90 and went back to 13 75. It's just much better, tier for tier. 13 90 needs better gun stats. BC 12t is just complete garbage lol and doesn't 13 105 have a 3 clip loader? That works on mediums better

i got it...just because i invesed 3 fem crews on 13-90 and now i dont like it anymore..

but 105...is decent..i have good games in it

sure, is a f***ng turd compared with meds or with Old LT stats how was suposed to be normally...but for ToT missions worth it. Its just a little BatChat with better cammo and worse gun and viewrange.

Nothing more...no one tier X LT worth it in fact for anything else except missions and discounts...

I had the tier 8 13 90 so I got the tier 9 13 90 for free, so I guess I'll just play a game or two in it for the shitz and gigglez every now and then, but I won't be grinding the 13 105 actively. My goal was to get the BC 25t and that still is my main goal with the French lights/meds.

I bought it after the top of tree came on, I had it researched for awhile but was waiting for the discount, In my opinion the 13 90, tier for tier is alot nicer and more fun to play, but both are great tanks

I wouldn't call it grind, as I haven't played my 13 90 in a month, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually. Have other priorities at the moment and I'm not really that much fussed about a Tier 10 Light Tank at the moment. From what I've managed to gather from my time on the Common Test, my Tier 10 Light Tank priority list goes as follows : Sheridan, WZ-132...something, T-100LT, AMX 13 105 and finally the Rhm. Whatevertheheckitwascalled. So yeah - 4th out of 5 ... or 2nd to last if you prefer. Not exactly my cup of tea that one in particular. Just a bad Bat Chat 25t IMHO.

I tried it on the CT and loved it. Problem is that's the CT, and I don't like autoloaders nevermind light tanks. If you wanna carry games these days you need mediums or heaviums

If it had a 4-shot autoloader (and increased reload time ofc, but same DPM as it's already bad enough) I'd go for it. 3-shot is crap, you can only realistically kill 1 arty, and even T8 LTs will be able to make you their so-and-so since you can't reliably clip them out.

Cant call it grinding really, started on that line when TotT came on. Doing my daily doubles, I am almost to the 13 75, where I think I will stop for a while as I have other lines & crew training priorities.

I'd like it, a) because i liked it on test and b) my dad was a gunner in one, back in the 60's, but the 13 90 seems very meh and i'm not going to freexp up to a tier x again. Oh wait. i uninstalled again so i shouldnt be doing this.

I did a powergrind over the weekend and got 100k XP in 4 hours playing (with x2 + Personal Reserves + Clan xp bonus) and unlocked + bought it. Really enjoyed the 13-90 and managed to close off the grind with a 62% wr and 4000 average wn8 in the last 20-30 matches or so.

After having played the 105 for few matches I can say that it was worth it for me, I like the 105, good gun handling, nice penetration at close/medium range and really nice mobility. Got some idiotic teams but it was not the fault of the tank itself.

My main problem with the 13-90 was the standard ammo pen which was kind of low and the gun handling, especially the aimtime.

Two small gripes I have with it which I'd like to see fixed:

- The penetration drop-off of the shells is far bigger than on T10 mediums, stop doing this and put that back to normal values.

- Increase the hull traverse because this one suffers a bit from the same problem as the CDC, the speed is good but it turns like the Titanic on a beach of Gravel for no reason.

I had AMX 13 105 researched and thus sold AMX 13 90 and bought AMX 13 105. I never much liked the 13 90 and dislike the 13 105 even more. But whatevers, another t10 in the garage that I never play.

I am enjoying my 13 105. But in full t10 battles hard to play it on corridor maps.

Only recommend for LT addicts.

BC 25t is more universal LT/MD.

I can't see the point in grinding tier 10 light/scout tanks when some tier 8 heavies have way more view range. Lower tier lights are just as much fun and have lower running costs. Amx 1390 is still fun and efficient but IMO introducing tier 10 lights was every bit as bad an idea as tier 10 arty was.

That is because Wargaming has a history of crippling/handicapping vehicles with a high skill ceiling to even the playing field as much as possible for average/bad players, that being said I do like the camo values of the 13 105, mines at 38% or something which means you are quite sneaky and it offsets the viewrange a bit.

Sitting on the fence with that decision at the moment. I am grinding down that line but it was more for the AMX 30 single shooter I was setting my sights on because I want more of a tradition tank layout but I could change my mind yet. I'm about half way through the AMX 13 75. Nice tanks, very wobbly handling and prone to rolling over with the slightest of bumps and what I don't like is their lack of ammo capacity. Maybe I shoot a bit too liberally but they really have very little ammo on board and I often run out but the other side is that you will often have to dip into your APCR reserves simply because there is no ammo left.

Here's what I'm talking about. If I had more ammo I would have just sat back and waited for someone else to find that last target but I said fork it, wanted to try for the last kill, would not have had enough to kill with 1 single shell left so was looking to spot, shoot and ram suicide for a finish. Note, these youtube conversions are not how the targets appear in the actual battle, there are so many tanks not outlined in red in this replay and it looks at one point that I am shooting blindly through grass getting lucky shots and that I have some sort of magic autolock... like all the other YouTube replays. You'll just have to take that part of the YouTube replays with a pinch of salt.

Only like 40k XP left, so will probably buy it this weekend. Wasn't an active grind though, just doing the occasional dailies in it since 9.18, and slowly running out of alternatives to grind anyway.
