Hi guys,

At the moment I am training a new crew for a light tank, but it is still on another light tank. I want to know how much % my 2nd skill needs to be when I put it on the tank I want to use it for, drop the skills and retrain them for credits, so I have 100% crew and 6th sense working.

I already have a simple program to calculate resetting, but it only works for just calculating the crew skill reset, not for resetting on another tank. For normal crew skill reset I would need 1 skill and the 2nd on 41%.

Can anyone help me out on this? Thanks in advance!

Don't do that crap...you will lose a lot of xp...just retrain the crew to the tank you want them in for credits at 90% and you will only have to get 39k xp to get them to 100%, while the other way, you lose 10% of the 2nd skill to reset and the 39k xp from the main skill.

if i got you right, free reroll costs 18% skill, silver reroll costs 9% skill. So obviously better to get extra 9% unsdistributed % cos first 30% you get in first 2 battles.

upd Appareentli I did not get you right lol
upd 2 So you wanna transfer undistributed skillpoints into primary skill alignment?
upd 3 Apparently from my 1st point follows that the previous speaker might be not exactly right

If you don't assign second skill, you don't have to drop anything. If you have unassigned crew skill, then that XP will be used to refill main qualification.

You can simply do normal skill dropping to obtain 6th sense (if you have selected something like repairs/camo/etc at start) and leave second skill unassigned.

According to this: http://www.planetwot.com/Crewxp/

If I got your question right, you would need ~60% on second skill to get main qualification to 100% after retraining to different class for credits, or ~50% when different tank of same class.

Why would you reset the skills if you are going from one light tank to another?

If you want to drop skills. They need to be at least 50% on the 2nd skills for you to keep the first one. As they take the XP from the 2nd skill to put on what you lack on the base skill %. So the more that drops, the more you need. But usually around 50%. If it's worth it or not is a different matter  depending on what skills you lose, and what tank it is. As 50% is a lot considering most skills gives a bonus pr % point. That's more based on if you feel it's more worth it to have the base % at 100% on your LT for view range etc. More so then what the skill gives. As if you don't have a premium to train them in, it will take longer to get it back.
