We had four tier 8 premium tanks in tier 10 battle, all with 46% WR. We lost 1-15 because useless players in useless tanks are useless. It wasn't fun or competetive.

We had two tier 8 tanks in tier 8 battle, both with 45% WR. We lost 3-15 because useless players camped in the base like top tiers should if you want to lose. It wasn't fun or competetive.

We had six tier 8-9 tanks in tier 9 battle, all with 41-45% WR. We lost 5-15 because 3 of them did 0 damage, 2 shot once. It wasn't fun or competetive.

 

See a pattern here? When one team has players who have no effect on the outcome of the battle, it usually ends in a slaugther. And if WG tends to keep the game fun and competetive, as they say in their emails, something has to be done. And I know there might be the odd occasion when some 45% player shoots and pens more than once, but if that player really had any influence on the battle, the winrate would be higher. It's not all bad luck after 15 000 battles. And there are more and more bad players every day. I've got 753 screenshots of players who would do better if they let bots play their accounts. So these 1-15 or 15-1 results will be more common and either way, it's not fun or competetive. Four 45% players is the same as four tanks driving rear first into an autoloader, but once is unsportsmanlike conduct and the other is something else.

 

So the teams should be balanced somehow by skill. If not completely, at least to some degree. Maybe something along the lines of have the same amount of players with WR less than 47% and the same amount of players with WR better than 54%?

Nope - you lost because the 11 other tanks did SFA in terms of killing the reds.

I just know one thing, too much extream bad players are playing high tier games. 

 

Man just ended match on Sigfried line, all tomatoes went to foching field and camp behind K5 bush whole battle.

 

They where literally useless,  and by "team based" game, where so many tanks are out of the battle is 99% lose game.

 

 

WG need to make high tier much much expensive.

In a way, where you preform bad you should lose a lot of credits. Even up to 1mil if you preform very bad in 10 games, so one game -100k, and every next battle should increase for next 100k.

 

So if you play 10 games like biggest (?!"=?=") you will lose 1mil, and this will make bad players to re-think a bit. If they will play at high tiers , they will need to play better or just move to lower tiers.

 

While now at moment games are long 2-3min,  because RNG and bad players which don't have clue about maps(even if they play 200k times same maps) .

 

And then we have artys which focus good players,to make them useless, and this need also huge rework.

No - Search the forum for all the reasons why SMM would be a fail. Fixing 3-5-7 would be a better place to start.

 

Turn off XVM stats in game - then you can lose in blissful ignorance of your team mates failings.

I'm constantly amazed how many people suggest skill based matchmaking as a solution to their problem, and then use winrates obtained in randoms as the selection measure.

 

When you alone think you have a good idea, you've got to work hard to get the group to go along with you if they think it's wrong.

Having ha high WR wont reduce lemming fails and top tier red line campers. As I've seen it just as much on both good and bad players. And good players usually fall back to leave you alone once they see it's a loss to farm red line damage anyway.

 

Unless they can pull it off 100%, there is no point doing it half backed. As AW so painfully proved. As their "skilled" based MM was one of a few factors that killed of PVP there. Tho it's on a temp rise with the steam version on low tiers.

S-51, Hummel, Grille, M3 Lee, M8A1, Wespe, SU-26, T2 Medium, H35. Those are the only tanks where you deal more damage than you take, and 5 out of those 9 are arties.

 

Think about that when you talk about "extream bad players".

You wont make a lot of money then...

 

And arty dont needs rework, fine as it is, only ingame stats should be blocked so (scumbag) xvm focus is no longer  an issue.
