About base campers , I'm sick and tired of them and they are sick and tired of playing the game properly .

therefore , I have an idea of " rate of fire buff for players whom left their base and reached enemy base , and maybe a rate of fire nerf or just keep  it the same for base campers " .

This way I feel I got rewarded for attacking enemy , playing the game properly and not camping my base , and campers will suffer fighting attackers and feel what  they did wrong .

 

Since no solutions for maps like Erlenberg , I think my idea will work .

A single player game will probably be your best bet. With 14 other players on your team most if not all of them will play how they want rather than how you want them to play.

no,no,no and no.. What if I go back to base to defend? I lose my rate of fire for actually playing the game :facepalm:

not so brilliant idea!

Some vehicles on some maps can do nothing but defend

whatever the idea, nothing will prevent people from camping / rush suicide / bad play / [insert any behavior you dislike there].

High tier gameplay *kind of* limit that though.

strangly in RL they dug holes to hide their hull etc

and they all screamed noob coward campers  rush at me and die like your meant to do ...

Unfortunately SERB had a different "brilliant" idea for campers - ARTY ! and it is not map dependent

For the mass spate of base camping we need a map re-work so the red lines and areas behind the caps are basically devoid of cover, concealment and elevation this making it very difficult to actually do anything from there.

 

We then need more viable sniping/crossfire/flanking options in the more central areas of the map.

 

I do also think something like a 50% XP and credits penalty for any damage/spotting/kills etc. earned in the the 2-3 maps squares nearest the red line would be a good idea.

 

But mainly re-work the maps, if people want to base camp that is their prerogative, but the positions they get should be terrible meaning they are easily beaten and killed. If they want a good map spot, they should have to contest for it in the more central areas of the map.

Oh... c'mon. Why didn't you come up with that idea a bit earlier? I already engraved the "dumbest idea of the year" award for the guy who wanted to remove "sniperguns" from light tanks.

If you're either incredibly naive, not thinking straight, not even playing the game, not knowing how the game works or all of the above, yeah then it might work.

No offense... but your 2 most played tanks... 

 

are the M44 and the M53/M54

 

you shouldnt be opening topics like this... even because, a much more brilliant idea would be remove the 2 tanks you played most, and the rest of the other "non-base-camping-top-down-shooters"
