The Grille 15 is unable to play sneaky on small maps. I was playing on Ensk, and they could see me from the spawning point. I can't sneak to some position, I can't defend the open field, because they just keep seeing you. Even being cover...

How the F should I be able to play that craptank normally?? Every time that machine gets hit, the gun is damaged.

Ronald

Well, it is hard to play any tank sneaky on emsk. With the Swedish td's the most capable to do so.

For all other tanks shoot and assume that you are spotted. And if you are destroyed early anyway, be glad your off a map that has no business being in rotation for anything higher than tier 5

I think you're right about the map size. The map with the open field is not big enough for tier x. You can see each other right away.

jup, and redline sniping i wouldn't consider to be 'sneaky'. Sneaky is getting close, spotting and shooting and getting away with it. Unfortunately, you can't really do that in the Grille without being punished.

Swedish TDs are toxic enough without thinking about bringing back the invisible TDs for everybody like they were before patch 8.something.

Yesterday session we had up to 8 TDs in each team, 6 being very usual. The best was a Kampinovka game where only TDs remained at the end (of course!) and which ended in a draw because none of those sneakies wanted to make a move.

That's the whole artillery/TD mentality exposed: I want to trash everything while remaining unscathed.

The Grille is perfectly fine, expect nerfs if anything, we're slowly getting back to the Big Hammer situtation again.

Edit: I agree with you about crew/module damage on the Grille line though, it's over the top.

Playing sneakily isnt something that can be done these days, WG made sure of it with their map changes and general balance. The funny thing is that probably 30% of the tanks in the game are still balanced around playing sneakily, which as said is not possible, yet the tanks werent compensated in any way for that and are left to rot and be useless.

No way TDs punish active gameplay.....NEVER!!!111eleven

Considering module damage. It's an open tank with everything exposed, i would expect most hits to pretty much damage everything.

You can't play sneaky with the in game wall hack.

I feel the same way about Mines.

Widepark is capped at Tier VI. Meaning, if you drive a Tier VII+ vehicle, you will not see this map.

I fail to realise why Mines and Ensk are not given the same treatment.
