Personally I don't care, no, but how about you create the chart just like you want it on google docs and link it?
about greedy goblin I must say he is right about one thing - success of WoT comes from the fact that even being brainless you will win 4 battles out of 10 and you don't ragequit the game, so there is no pvp spiral.
He is wrong in searching for why wot works like this - all it takes is to take out respawns what limits the effect of sinlge player on the game, add a lot of randomisation in everything and that's all it takes.
The problem with randomisation of game is, that better players see how other's lameness causes them to lose battles where they do a lot to win and either stop playing (out of the best players I know a year ago more dropped the game then stayed with it) or stop caring and play like zombies. What only make things worse

I would like to add that its much easier when playing solo, (not platooning or TC) to imagine you are playing a single player game and that the friendly team is run by AI.
It really takes a lot of frustration out of the game, although now and again you will be surprised by how intelligent the AI can be. (Very very rarely though)

This is actually the very best post I've ever seen on this forum. You can be proud of what you are doing. Thank you Snib.

Look at that, WG copied from this thread:
http://worldoftanks....ary-in-numbers/
I'm saying they copied it since their tank usage stats follow the same order as in my "Most played tanks, tiers, nations" section. Coincidence? You decide.

Question: is it possible to gather the data needed to calculate the serverwide average Efficiency?
The formula for calculating efficiency is the sum of:
+ Average kills per battle * (350 - (20 * Average Level))
+ Average damage per battle * ((1.5/Average Level) + 0.2)
+ Average spotted per battle * 200
+ Average Capture points per battle * 150
+ Average Defence points per battle * 150
The reason I'm asking is that the purporters of Eff Rating class values of 900-1200 as "average", but when I play, the absolute majority of players have Effs of 600-900 (i.e. are displayed bright red in XVM). That might be due to the tiers I usually play (Mid-tier tanks are put at a disadvantage by the formula), but I'd be curious about the serverwide numbers.

Ah, right.
Do I read the data correctly and average tank tier played is 5.379?
So it looks like server-wide average efficiency rating is ~1035.13. Surprisingly high, unless I made a mistake somewhere.
Calculated with:
Average kills per battle = 0.74
Average damage per battle = 590.23
Average spotted per battle = 0.9905
Average capture points per battle = 1.79
Average defence points per battle = 0.71

I also find this rather high; if the number is correct I'd really like to know where all the players with above-average scores are. My impression is that at least 2/3 of Random players have Eff <900.

In topic description, you write "Latest Data from 14. March 2012". You mean of course 14. April 2012...
Edit: he corrected it...
Back to topic: As we can see, the VK4502B is right now by far the worst performing Tier 9 Heavy. This will probably also not change with 0.7.3.

seems the "let's test it on production servers" failed. With so low number of battles the conclusions from this testing will be none

I'm shocked how many bad players got to IS4 & how its drivers behave against new high pen cannons, so it could get -2% WR.

It would be interesting to see similar data about efficiency like those with win ratio (I mean those percentiles thing) - I think it should be possible, I don't know if it is worht Snibs time.
on the other hand - I agree with damage per battle being dependend on level, but i don't really see the point of making difference on rewarding kills depending on tier level (except tiers 1 and top tiers).
Unless it is a way to assume, that with average tank tier 6 you play more tier 1 and less tier 10 then someone with average tank tier 7.
Still, snib data suggest, that defense points should be rated higher then capture points (people have less of them) + I hate the idea of suicide scouting being rewarded, while successful lighting targets for your team is not counted at all.
It seems there is no good way to calculate one number that will suffice to compare players....

Im afraid that the Mouse will become rather extinct with the introduction of the new Tier10 soviet IS4 and its respective gun.
Even now its use in Clanwars is rather limited, the T110 has very little problems with its armor when using gold ammo, I doubt the new Soviet 400+ pen gun (with gold ammo) will make it any more viable....
