It will take us several days to compile all the results and weed out players who did not earn their position fairly. How is this even possible I cant see the way to rig this except if game mechanics is broken

I think they want to have enough time to cut through support ticket backlog which say "these guys from same clan did count-down to get in same battles, then people helped one person farm damage to get high XP". It's theoretically possible.

It is possible some idiots used destruction mods, or tundra, or aimbots, crap like that. Let's wait for the ban hammer to weed those scumbags out.

Just don't raise your hopes too much, there aren't that many cheaters out there and most of them suck even when cheating.

Forgot about this one. It can still happen. But I doubt it's worth the effort or the risk, just to get 3 days of premium and a few reserves?

A lot of marathons for premium tank reward, and they never compile all the results and weed out players who did not earn their position fairly. But for poor price like is several days of premium acc and couple of personal reserves, they need several days. 100% amateurs.

Nice event, I quite liked it. The non-consecutive games change is good.

"Per-tier + per-nation" classification is OK, but perhaps having even more leaderboards (with lesser rewards) for "per-tier + per-nation + per-type" would be even better as now some tanks are out-classed by OP tanks in other tank classes.

Also the rewards weren't well thought out, top 2000 is the only result I aimed for due to credit boosters. Top 1000 got some joke bad XP boosters, and rewards for top 100 (now non-existent) and top 10 should have been better.

Also it's unfortunate it only ran during some of the times, in the mornings I couldn't play due to work (in EET) and in the evenings we had CW and other clan activities.

Also leave the leaderboard up! I want to know how I placed!

But still, a good event. Thanks, WG.

if you will find someone cheat will you put him out of the list and bring up players that play fair and didn't get rewards cause cheaters took their place? that would be fair!!!

The event was nice, but it rewarded in great numbers people who had a lot of time to play.
It was not uncommon to see in the leaderboards players with 100 to 300 games in one tier, on one nation, and then see the same player with hundreds of games in other nations/tiers leaderboards. If you can play that many games, eventually some are going to be good. For me, having played 1 or 2 hours per day and not everyday, there wasn't really any chance.

I was waiting for this message. ( I'm sorry for my english.)

I knew that when we organized the protest, WG would do everything to firstly spread the word to the players to register for the march. Everyone received 5 messages in the registration game and at the same time, I expected the summary numbers at the end.

This message meant that the event was successful and subconsciously thinking "hey, see how many people didn't protest and played - we are doing good events".

And now I'm giving a sad message to WG since they have gathered players from tankers from across the globe then this whole event is dumb.

On the RU server we have actively playing players (per week): 3.33 million, EU: 875 thousand, US: 174.5 thousand, SEA: 117 thousand.

http://wot-news.com/...rver/eu/norm/en <---- you can check

People taking part in the event: 1 644 411 from across the globe.

This means that on the servers where there were tanks to win the vast majority didn't participate in the event. And I still only write about active players in the week.

In short, This is a failure :).

I liked this one. A fun way to compete and actually gave me a reason to play a some of my tier X tanks. Which was fun.

Tier X is otherwise completely broken. Still don't understand how the endgame level in WoT is allowed to be totally unplayable? Mainly because of miserable economics. A reasonable good battle gives 0k (with a premium account!), but a mediocre/bad battle easily ends in negative 30-50k. And if you switch to premium ammo, but still don't manage to make an impact. It get's way worse. Per battle!? It just sucks big time and imo it's a miserable fail by WG.
And no. We are not all purple helmet warriors that manage 10k damage every battle!

Nevertheless, March of Nations was still fun. I hope it will turn out to be a regular event a couple of times every year.

Nice event!

Mostly positive things with maybe except unhealthy domination of some OP (premium and none)  tanks in few categories. Should really make devs think twice about balance.

Actually, leaderboards dominated by some tanks won't always necessarily mean these tanks are OP, just perhaps their XP multipliers are wrong (but often it means the tank is OP).

French tier 8 top place was won by someone in AMX CDC. That tank is in no way OP, quite the opposite. But the player was very good, therefore the result.

Nice thing about the event was that it forced me to play more solo than usual (same as in ranked, actually).

I feel like it taught me things about the game. With platoon gameplay you have certain tools at your disposal (coordinated pushes, knowing that when you spot someone will hit who you spot, shielding, helping platoon mates, etc.) that you don't as solo players. So when these tools are taken away, you make do with what you have and are forced to become a bit better in those aspects.

Also I realised how much my platoon mates steal dmg in end-game if I'm in a slow tank and they are in fast ones. :)

Thanks for the 2 weeks of prem time in advance, even though I didnt have that many tanks or nations to "compete" in, nor bothered to play any of my T8 just for these lame rewards.

How do you know? You didn't see the final leaderboards. Maybe some AMX 13 75 or AMX 50 100 came in and did 5 fantastic battles in the last hour :).

True that. :)

I remember having a look at the top players in random categories last night before going to bed, and seeing the CDC in the top with some amazing results made me slow clap for the guy. :)
