this event was a crap. look at the tanks that are in the top: e25, prime viktoria and other premium vehicles. pay to win. shame on you, WG!

In some cases people just play the premiums more as they earn credits.

In others they are OP (Defender, AMX 13 57).

I liked this one. A fun way to compete and actually gave me a reason to play a some of my tier X tanks. Which was fun.

Tier X is otherwise completely broken. Still don't understand how the endgame level in WoT is allowed to be totally unplayable? Mainly because of miserable economics. A reasonable good battle gives 0k (with a premium account!), but a mediocre/bad battle easily ends in negative 30-50k. And if you switch to premium ammo, but still don't manage to make an impact. It get's way worse. Per battle!? It just sucks big time and imo it's a miserable fail by WG.
And no. We are not all purple helmet warriors that manage 10k damage every battle!

Nevertheless, March of Nations was still fun. I hope it will turn out to be a regular event a couple of times every year.

obviously you are bad player. with premium account , i profit in most of X tier games easy. X tier is only one worth playing fyi.

Did anyone notice on the USSR tier 8 there was a guy in the top 10 with all 5 games in a KV5? think he was either 8,9 or 10 .. I bet that radio man suffered greatly during this event :teethhappy:

Great event, but would have been nice if after the event you could see your rank before this was investigated to see if you acually made it in the top 10 or 1000 as i was 8th place in russian tier 7 verhicles 9 hours before it ended. Now i have to wait days to see if i acually made it or not....

please NEVER EVER exclude platoons anymore! Two weeks to tell people u cant platoon cause wargaming says so was ridicoulous.

also next year , exclude premium tanks if u are serious about fair competition. e25- amx 57f  ...  are a joke in the rankings

Intrestingly I scored my highest result with Tiger I. 5.6k xp in 30 battles, that tank would be the king of tier 7 had e25 not existed.

A lot more pleasant to play than IS.

It is useless for you, for me, but not for the person who earned it.

Don't ruin their fun bro. It's not nice. :)

The event was nice, but it rewarded in great numbers people who had a lot of time to play.
It was not uncommon to see in the leaderboards players with 100 to 300 games in one tier, on one nation, and then see the same player with hundreds of games in other nations/tiers leaderboards. If you can play that many games, eventually some are going to be good. For me, having played 1 or 2 hours per day and not everyday, there wasn't really any chance.

I don't agree with you if you're an good player and play the right vehicles you will still get pretty high for example I did 17 battles on tier 10 with the M48 Patton and got placed on 340th place after then I haven't played and I'm still from the top 1000

Position 1000 in t9 USA and 998 in t10 China, don't need to move forward via bans of the cheaters in higher positions :)

ABSOLUTE [edited]platoons HAVE to be excluded otherwise it wouldn't be fair for all the solo fighting souls, you must choose what's more important for you getting this event or playing with your buddies

Four tournaments drew a total of 1,644,411 tankers from across the globe

Uh huh. So much for the "more than 110,000,000 players" that you say you have playing this game

Spoiler

Man what's the point of rewarding the players who don't put effort in game. Either you put effort by playing 200-300 games so you get lucky to hit high exp or you put high effort as a good gameplay in 30-40 battles and carry the team, both should be rewarded. But playing average and only 1-2 hours per day you actually didn't bring the effort and just wanted the reward for being a player.

View Postdaiena, on 29 November 2017 - 12:41 PM, said:

So you want to be rewarded just by showing up? The premium time e.t.c is not the main lure - it's the credit boosters that are sought after. And if you can afford to throw at the game 1 or 2 hours a day max, you really shouldn't expect equality.

Guys .. I started with "The event was nice"
I know everyone is used to people crying about stuff, but my post wasn't like that at all. What part of it gave you that impression ?
I was just stating the obvious, not saying that I should've received anything for playing casually.

Nice event WG, shame that between grinding for the fvb and preparing/playing campaign I didn't have very much time, but that's my problem.

That's exactly my point, they earned it, but what they earn? 1 more useless badge in sea of useless badges those days. I just want to tell him how useless those badges are, and nobody needs to be happy because of that.

you do get ridiculous amounts of base exp for any half-decent game in KV-5, should have thought of playing that vehicle moar during the event, tbh.

but lol @ tier 7 germans, top 1k consisted mostly of E25s D:

also 13 57 is broken af

Wow, I liked this event, especially the timing was perfect for me. I am one of those F2P players, and also I never fire any premium rounds. Hence, obtaining premium and credit boosters is what made me wanted to score in as much as top 1000's as possible.

As was said before, the tier 7 rankings were relatively easy to obtain (especially with non-premium rounds); I found this out about a week into the event. Made it really nice for me to grind through the Ikv 90, T34/100, LTG, WZ-131 and T71 DA, all getting a spot in the top 1000. In absence of premiums in the categories, I also managed to get in the top 1000 with my AMX 30B/13 90 and TVP VTU.

Looking forward to the 3 weeks of premium and 70 hours of credit boosters. Probably going to combine them :)
