edit: upload replay and give a timestamp. From a guess - ghost shell? Because from looking at tanks.gg, his whole side is a clear overmatch everywhere for the IS7's gun, and even if it wasn't there is no logical reason why 300mm APCR wouldn't pen that.

Just watch the replay, then watch it again in slow motion, THEN if you think something dodgy still happened even after watching that, come back and POST THE REPLAY!

 

We can't do anything with your dodgy garage mod screenshot thingies, none of us know what mod it is and how it works and what it shows and where it gets the data.

It's a screen shot from the Battle Hits mod - it shows where the shell hit & angle etc.  Not sure what a replay would add.

Context, for one. And for another, showing what actually happened instead of a screenshot of a mod showing what happened.

Still can you be sure that it is where it was hit?

that's why watching the replay in slow mo first is a far better option than relying on some dodgy garage mod ^

Often wondered that myself with the Battle Hits mod.  It may suffer from the same issue in-game rendering has vs what the server decides actually happened.

You can't be sure that what you see in-game is accurate either.

no, but Id trust that and the server over a mod which works from the clients info..

Isn't the mod just working off the client info - same as a replay would be?

dpends on the instance.. if its lag at the moment, you'll see it in the replay, so you'd know where the shot goes isn't where the client/server thought, and case closed

 

if it doesn't, then idk..


 

I cant see any other explanations for it..

Even if that was the case, a replay would add A LOT more context and information. E.g., were the tanks in motion? Ping? Laglight?

This. Load up tanks.gg and play around to check the probabilities. I'd suggest a miss.
