Did you make the big-alpha guns competitive in the meantime since last time or do they still have completely gimped premium penetration for no valid reason what-so-ever compared to the low-alpha guns?

I might actually go down this line as they seem kind of new and interesting in playstyle.

Cobra 6

i just hope they buff the 65T's mobility as right now it has no real use... the only good thing about it is the alpha and that cant save something that moves at maus speeds...

there's no need for it to be That slow, when the other 2 in the line can get to their top speed..

Looks interesting, however it is very weak against flanking. The lower plate is worse than the amx m4 mle 49. However you might say that is has no cupola weakspot. The turret is a pretty big target as well. Sidescraping looks like a bad idea with those front cheeks. The best position to be in it is straight frontally, like on the IS-3.

I wonder where the modules are

Its gun depression looks decent, what was it, -8? I guess peekabo tactics might be one of its strong points.

I can see people having fun in it while bouncing everything :) Might even give it a go at this line sometime in the future.

Can't wait for December's advent calendar though.

It was pretty fun on test server with the big gun. Only concern was the low gold pen, tho its less pain in [edited]in practice than it seems like on paper. The 130 mm has very good handling and accuracy for such a big gun, and the tank is fast enough so it doesn't have to constantly brawl super-heavies. It has a very cool niche as being the hardest hitting heavy in the game that goes faster than 30 kph. Should be fun.

There is no reason to use the 120 mm, though, you might as well play the Super Conqueror instead.

my only grind is that the lower calibre guns as you point out, are better used on other tanks, leaving the bigger guns the only option.. and the previous CT variants of those guns, as much as they were decent, had pitiful gold pen and left you vulnerable if you came up against a Type 5 or so.. something you couldn't pen very easily, and with the derp, you got smacked for rather more than even your high alpha could deal

other than that, the tanks themselves were mobile like most higher tier frenchies are but had enough of a punch to make up for the other shortcomings

they look like good tanks, though that T8.....

Tier 8 looks like utter trash, agreed. I am not looking forward on playing that thing.

377 front plate? Thats much better than I thought it was according to other armour checkers, which ones correct o.O

Even accounting for the fact I won't have the angle perfect the difference seems pretty massive

T8 was/probably still is (didnt check if they made some changes on test) complete trash, crap armor, and bad mobility for no reason, 100mm gun had bad stats and 120mm gun was good only with premium spam. Liberte is better in pretty much everything unless you spam apcr with that 120mm gun.

T9 and 10 are pretty decent, all they really need is better premium ammo penetration on bigger guns because as they are now there is basically no reason to use them over the lower alpha guns which are better overall.

After testing the front plate a bit it is definitely not 377 effective, 340 HEAT was going through 50% of the time and so was 330 APCR. It is closer to 335-355 effective depending on the ammo
