Can i ask Wot techies, to place a disable all chat, not just individuals.

I am finding that Wot is becoming a breeding ground for childish language, spamming, and ignorant comments.

It ruins my game and others i have spoken with.

I am not along, when i say that i would like to see all chat(one button) disabled this is to stop the screen being blocked, stupid gamers upsetting folk, gamers ruining the match.

can you please make this possible.

You can disable all chat in settings: General - Disable chat with allies.

Or have i mis-understood what you're looking for?

Yeah. Who needs communication in a multiplayergame.

edit: Since you simply didn't bother to check the settings, can I capture your suggestion thread to ask for a symbol in the teamlist that shows if someone has deactivated the chat? That would be REALLY useful.

That would be great,

knowing that some players have no intention of playing as a team, and that I should be backing up the rest of my side instead.

I would like both teams to be able to communicate with each other up until they get blown to crap and then no more chat once you are dead. Although maybe one more comment after being destroyed so you can say  "FU ARTY"  :D

Maybe we can have a seperate Quick chat menu containing standard phrases for those who are chat banned too (like me atm :()....

C+F1 = Hi

C+F2 = Goodbye

C+F3 = Push me once more and i'll F**K**G @:%%$$^ *£*$££*&$ "!"!)!)*("£....

You wouldn't need to be chat banned for C+F3 to be useful. Being pissed off enough to say something like that usually means you don't have the time to write it - some moron messing up your aim or a "troll" thinking it's funny to push you right in front of a firing squad.

The game lost a lot of character when it blocked cross team chat. No need to make it any worse.

Alt+F4 will do that for you. Though, map pings are good for team play, better to learn to use it.

Turn your filters on that's what they are there for.

why the hell should everyone else miss out on the chat room just because you don't like it.
