I like this tank but have not picked the correct set up for me.

Streamers Like Circon and Skill4ltu  have gone for  Optics , Stab, Rammer

Dezgammez and Quickybaby seemed to think stabs could be left off and subbed for vents?

I have a new crew in it as I'm training 1 up for the Sheridan.

I went for a full bush spotter set up as i had these modules in garage.    Optics, Binocs , Vents.    Crew all at 80% cammo (commander will retrain to 6 sense at 100% .)

Watching some YouTube replays it seems like a decent dealer of damage so I'm open to change as the crew evolves.

What setups do you have and how is the tank is the tank working for all you right now??

Thx

TacP

As you have said you are training a new crew for the Sheridan, so your crew skill picks should be for that tank and not the T-92. As for stabilisers or vents, try them both out on test server, otherwise spend some gold/credits in a training room, to find your preference.

Both optics/vents/rammer and optics/stab/rammer are decent options. Binos can work if you prefer to play passively without sixth sense, but I bet you get more experience out of optics regardless.

I'd say with a good crew you can dump the vents and go for stabs instead; the idea is that optics and crew skills pushes the VR far enough for vents to be less important.

Crew: Camo, 6th sense, snapshot, smooth ride, situational awareness.

=======================

First I tried:

Vstab / Rammer / Coated and quite liked it.

Then I tried:

Vents / Rammer / Coated / Cola but felt my shots at range started to miss again

Then I decided:

Vstad / Rammer / Coated / Cola and this is the setup I currently run.

=======================

I feel that you need the Vstab to make use of that godlike dispersion on the move when you autoaim and drive around on this thing, if you have Vstab pretty much every shot seems to hit whereas if you mount vents they seem to miss much more.

That being said I nearly burned to the ground in a match last night because Cola replaces Fire extinguisher and an LTTB found it funny to shoot an HE shell into my engine setting me in fire. Cost me 700 health.

So if that happens too often I might remove the Cola again and go back to just Vstab/Rammer/Coated.

I cant remember the last time i burned in T92... seems they fixed the engine issue, i rarely get hit in the thing tho and with a measly 1k HP it dont live long enough to take multiple hits.

T92 as trainer for a fresh crew?

Hmm, taking away the fun of it.

T92 as a crew imporvement plattform?

Yes please, because it is pure fun.

My crew (5.8k matches) is training hard on 6th skill at 99%.

I am running vents, optics, rammer (WG recommandation), coke from the beginning.

At current I am working on 3rd MoE.

The MoE climb is still noticeable, hence no need to change module setup.

Shooting on the move could be alot better, but I decided not to have a vstab (for now).

hit rate: 74%

dmg: 1.4k+

max dmg: 3.5k

Spotting is great.

spotted: 3.6

assised: 1.2k+

Camo is great.

dmg received: 730

survived: 47%

win rate 68%+

I like it alot.

Cobra 6

A very common waypoint for decission taking.

IMO, the decission has to be made while selecting loader skills.

From Chaffee, M41 WB I have learned that FF is a very cool skill when u like to enjoy coke.

I also learned the not getting hit all is the best fire prevention.

:honoring:

My loader had to fire figth about 8/100 matches.

Initially ran Vstab, GR & Optics and also tried Vents, GR & Optics. I didnt notice a big difference in my dispersion on the move, so I have kept the second setup (for now). I use it as a crew improvement tonk; most of my US LT crews are on 1,5-2,5 skills and I am training them up to at least 3. I dont run food yet, never really tried it tbh. In the 20 games or so I have played so far I dont recall being set on fire once. However, due to low hp pool, the enemy doesnt have to pen me much anyway lol.

I love it @376 matches.

MoE is stuck at 91%.

Uniqe selling point: self spotting dmg dealer.

The Xmas skin turns it into a fire engine.

I love this little tank.

Still learning the game but I've played quite a bit of Type 64 and some Black Dog but the T92 was the Light I've been looking for.

Rammer, Optics and Vstabs. Driving around at high speed and firing with autoaim or aimed when there's cover.

Even the 150 pen is not an issue as you can just get behind or beside people or simply track/avoid the really tough enemies as they'll never catch you :B

I don't get all the negativity towards the T92...
