Used to use Linux years ago still think I have a laptop somewhere with it on. Found it good on low power PC's.

Do you think that WG will port it to your os?

Good luck:)

Do you think that you can win more battles on a Linux platform?

I suspect most that have a linux PC, have a WIN 7 rig near to that works even better for WOT. As I don't know of many.. or any that run Linux and nothing else that this would appeal to. And can't game on anything besides the 30+ games Steam gave them. And 90% of them are 10+ years old. They will manage.

But since Linux games mostly are Clones and remakes. I suspect there will be a WOT clone there soon to. Or? I mean the only game I play on my Linux rig is OpenTTD.

And no OS/2 option in the voting?

In just about 12 hours of this post, the results are : Windows = 25 , Linux = 1.

I don't think a 25:1 ratio is going to make anyone stand up a new team to port WoT over to the various flavors of Linux and then keep up with the software lifecycle process.  Your time should now be devoted to finding a good Windows emulator for your OS or purchasing a Windows gaming rig.  Sorry, bruv.

Lost case from the start IMO. For those 5% of comps running Linux, no gaming company will care...

Back in 2011 it was only possible to play World of Tanks on a mac by either creating a windows partition, or using a Wine wrapper. cf long old mac thread =  https://forums.macru...-tanks.1540160/

for perhaps 100 more users ?

im not really sure but dx shouldnt really work well so they would have to redo the game to base it on open gl ?

also evenif you gained 20 M  votes here for linux wg wont read it and as they dont know they wont care  but you wont reach a decent number of votes anyway

Linux and macs arent exactly known as gameplatforms

depending onthe tasks you have for just browsing or watching some streams  linux or mac are pretty much the same   GUI with just a few differnt icons

with their not so mainstream distribution they might be even a bit saver since there is less malware for that operating systems

the difference lies under the surface, file system or ways to archieve the same goal   and if the goal is gaming   there is mostly just 1 way  if not going for dual boot or emulators

I pretty much have every Win OS installed in some way or form since DOS as well as several Linux distro's, I've never seen the point of Mac OS even though my first "proper" computer was a Mac with a black & white screen which later was upgraded to one which also included orange, but I think I got it somewhere as well. Still I see no point what so ever to make a Linux version of WoT, sure it's a great OS, but they playerbase using it is minuscule and most that use Linux have another OS available anyhow.
