Is it just me or AMX 13 90 has not modeled turret as collision object? If I flip upside down, and this tank flips even on flat leveled grounds, I can not get unflipped by teammates, just like swedish TDs. Why is it like that?

no tank has the turret modeled as an object.

Oh, and I call BS on turning over on leveld ground.  I play a lot of light and the onyl times I turn over is when I drive fast against something that makes me jump up.

Ill post dumbload amount of replays flipping on leveled ground in himmelsdorf. going full spead tho. it drives me crazy. but that aside, how do you "unflip" 1390. I do not think it has turret, because it becomes burried in dirt, which is so strange .. maybe I am wrong but for last 3 days of hard grinding, it made me so mad

Pls show me those replays.

And if it happens so often, maybe slow down a bit?

And like i said, it indeed does not have a turret collision model, not a single tank in this game does.

I've never done that in my 13 90.. In the 1448 games I've had in it. Not even on uneven ground. LTTB I would believe in, as that flips easy on flat ground in a straight line even. 13 90 less so. I'm sure there was a bump there. You running on low details? Some bumps are not there on lower details. If you don't see them, that might explain it.

The Bc. 12t has more of the flipping issue, than the 13 90.

Dude, WoT Folder > replays > upload to wotreplay > share link on forums.

I find the LTTB worst of the bunch when it comes to light tank flipping. Stopped playing french before the physics change tho, but i guess they are not far behind on the annoyance scale.

Only both of the 12t-s are bad when it comes to flipping. Basically, the thinner the chassis and the threads and the higher the tank, the more you flip.

But let's be honest. Tank physics right now are retarded.. i've had my threads crawl up a wall many times when playing a TD and forgetting to tap X and just looking to the side and flipping, becaue the threads in this game are covered in sticky goop from the dev team.

I found out the hard way, that the mentioned goop doesn't work too well on cliffs, scarps, shores or any other ground near a hillside where it goes deep down or a deeper waterhole. :hiding:

Ive flipped an LTTB on very level ground when making a particularly tight turn - fortunately it did a complete roll though and came out just tracked. MT25 was arse too.

If you understood 'physic's instead of throwing the term around like confetti you would understand that it isn't the stickiness of a wall or tracks that makes a tank ride up it but the lateral grip of the track that is on the ground. And as the ground and increased pressure point can offer more grip than a smooth wall a tank would be able to 'climb' a wall in real life, conditions applying. Of course in real life a wall could collapse under the weight, or the grip may give out on the lower track and the tank could slip sideways and back down the wall (not modeled by WG), or it could continue on and flip. But also in real life drivers get proper training and generally only have one job to do while in WOT a player may be attending to many things.

Physics are fine, just learn to drive, cant remember the last time i flipped a tank.

More chance of Bobs and Vagene than finding that particular game replay I'm afraid. I'm quite an honest chap though, it comes with the job.

Its not about honesty, its about unbiased memory. Humans are nutorious for having biases everywhere. Things are often not what you remember.  If i claimed somrthing i would also not trust it without a replay.

Get yourself over to wotreplays.eu and let's see.

My money is on playing on low settings and not being able to see small objects which have the potential to flip you.
